“Would definitely love to return here”

What an experience! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. As the resorts listing describes, there is no electricity supply in the rooms so ditch your phone for a few days and decompress in this wonderful setting. (You can charge your devices and get WiFi in the lobby restaurant area). The swimming platform was brilliant. You jump in and the river takes you back to your room! The whole family loved it. Food is a set menu and was good and wholesome so come with an open mind and try something new you may not have had before.

The location of the rafts on the river is absolutely fantastic. The boat trips on the river Kwai to and from the lodge are pure enjoyment. Globally the place is a very nice floating hotel to stay.

Wonderful surrounding nature, amazing view of chalets on rafts of the hotel. Good organization of trips and visiting interesting places. Good food. Marvelous atmosphere of the place. Lack of mosquitoes, flies and other insects.

Very beautiful location with stunning views on the river, especially in the morning. Delicious food and lunch is great value for money.

It's an amazing adventure. You will not be disappointed by the experience. Fantastic service right from arriving at the pier, getting into a long boat and speeding up the River. The wildlife and scenery is breathtaking. Life vest we're supplied but we didn't wear them, we felt comfortable with the pilot. Super warm greetings on arrival and offered a refreshing drink once on site. The whole setting takes your breath away. Swiftly taken to our room and reality hits you. The rooms were spacious but be aware this place has no electricity supply to the rooms and it was dark and with a supplied battery operated lamp it was difficult to unpack etc. Quite a few guests had head torches so they had done there homework Room were clean and beds extremely comfortable. Just think Clamping on water. Outside was a large table and chairs and a hammock. Perfect! You will then step down to another area by the river and sunbeds are provided 2 to a raft. The River flows fast past and so fo the other life belt wearing guests from the jumping raft at the top end of the resort. Great fun. Dinner was basic but adequate and breakfast was super. A little bar area was available but I didn't see many serious drinkers. In the main area there us a phone charging area, next to smoking area. Many phone were left unattended on charge and I was happy to leave mine amongst them and feel assured it would still be there such is the ambience of the resort. Every night they put on a Mon Dancing show 200tbht and it's truly worth it. At the rear of resort you can access the Mon village and check out the Buddah Cave..you won't be disappointed! Go Relax, enjoy the thrill of the journey up the river, the whole environment of the resort and strap a life jacket on and jump in the river.

Once in a lifetime location, swimming down the river

Appreciate the idea of getting back to nature, which is why we went, but surely it is possible to use solar water to give hot showers? Appreciate lack of electricity, but the tech is out there using solar.

2nd time staying here and it is still magical! Food, service and rooms are consistently top notch, it is really a full immersion in nature and the Kwai Noi River ! 100% recommend
