“Very nice stay!”

Sleeping in an historic palace is always very nice, with wooden pavement, the staff guy was very helpful and super nice

The location was excellent. The staff were always available and willing to help us plan our stay. The breakfast was a great start to the day and there was plenty of food. We were very well looked after and no question was ever a problem. A fabulous place to stay.

“Fabulous experience!”

The hotel was in the very old building where the athmosphere was really authentic. We booked the best room and it had 200 years old ceiling decoration, wonderful views to the lovely old city and linen with embroidery. There are small but clean and modern toilets and showers in the room. We also liked fresh and rich breakfast a lot. And last but not least - the manager Ismail was absolutely wonderful host taking care of everything you would need!

I am a visitor come from Taiwan. During all these years I traveled around the world. Seeing a lot of Inns,B&Bs,and this is the best one that I've ever live in. The environment is astounding, you could see all the views of the old town while you just standing or sitting in front of the widow of the window. You could feel the attitude, confidence from the staff there,cause they are not just treat it as a business, but a the thing that they really enjoy to do.So that is why sometimes,you will suddenly think you are a local resident instead of a visitor.Since this B&B make you believe it was your parents house ,and you are a member of this family.

The host is very friendly and the ismail service is very thoughtful. There is a small road on the mountain that can quickly reach the street. Parking is convenient and there is a beautiful viewing area. It is great

“The Ottoman era architecture and houses.”

The beautiful view, leaving in a 500year old house and absolutely clean. 5mins down the hill to all attractions and feels very nostalgic. Preserved structure and buildings.

197 old house turned into an Otel, a very pleasent experience. Good location old market in a walking distance but keep in mind walking back can be a bit difficult due to the high ground.

The hostility of the manager Ismail is excellent, it helps lot on introduce Safranbolu and guide where should wandering around. It also serves turkiye tea for guest to enjoy. The breakfast served is awesome, I think it is Turkish style breakfast, taste really nice. The look out view from the hotel is amazing, it position at great site of safranbolu, giving good scene when having meal or relax in in the hotel

Very friendly and accommodating staff making sure that we feel like we are at home with all possible comfort. the hotel is located in a living history building and very well renovated while keeping all the original features and furniture without a feeling that we are in the old building. Wonderfully renovated washrooms in each room and delicious breakfast. Ismail(the manager) was making sure that we would get a reliable taxi into the city and back , so even without language knowledge the hotel will make sure that visit Safranbolu will be seamless . I think it is the one of the best view in the city, with parking and just 100 m away from the old bazaar that is a good choice to stay.

“Friendly staff and good view!”

- the owner and the manager Ismail are quite friendly. They gave us restaurant suggestions, shared the place to visit, and helped us book a taxi from the hotel to the bus station (it's by meter, so don't worry about the scammer). My friend and I are welcomed and greeted by a warm Turkish tea on a chilly morning even when we actually arrived early. - the hotel is on a hill which is the relatively higher location of the safronbolu. It's very close to the Hıdırlık Tepesi (observation platform, entry ticket is 50 lira per person). - the hotel interior is the old ottoman style wooden house. It's not soundproof but personally it didn't bother me and I like this decoration style! - hearty breakfast and nice view

Location was excellent . To access all the features of safranbolu. My room was the so quiet and I had an excellent sleep . Breakfast was good .

It was great to stay at an old Ottoman house. Friendly staff, generous Turkish breakfast. Close to town and all attractions.

The manager, Ismail, was a wonderful host, nothing was too hard for him, he made sure I was looked after always. He organised economical airport transfer even getting up early to make my breakfast before I left. I really appreciated this.

“Best place to stay in Safranbolu”

Everything!! There was nothing to dislike. The host Ismail abi was amazing and very helpful, from carrying our (heavy) bags down the stairs to serving us tea and giving us a quick orientation of the hotel and explaining where things were in town. The place was clean, the views are amazing, comfy beds, decent size shower, and even amazing views from the best room in the hotel. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful, we got full and was still a bit of food left, top quality and fresh items on offer. Parking was a breeze, right in front of the hotel and within minutes you are in the old town.
