Overview
Château de Montcaud is located in Sabran, in the Provence region. The property is set in the former private residence of a silk trader and is surrounded by five hectares of grounds. After a 2 year renovation the hotel has been fully refurbished and re-opened in June 2018. It features a 24-hour front desk, an outdoor swimming pool, a concierge service and free WiFi. The 29 rooms and suites include a kettle and a private bathroom, while the Family Suite and Two-Bedroom House will each provide you with a terrace. At Château de Montcaud, each room includes air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. All the rooms have views of the park. On site, guests can enjoy a traditional French bistrot and a gourmet restaurant. The bistrot serves traditional French meals as well as daily specials, which, weather permitting, guests can enjoy on the terrace and packed meals are also available. “Wonderful Chateaux”
A beautiful chateaux in a lovely part of France. The pool is exceptionally nice as is the food. I'd like to give particular praise to the concierge who helped us with our transfer, a tennis lesson and with the resolution of some missing items with speed and professionalism. Would highly recommend it to anyone!

“Stunning, private, low key and exceeded all expectations.”
We stayed for our 10th anniversary and it exceeded all expectations. The setting is perfect, very private, low key and relaxing. The grounds are amazing. Food is delicious. And we cannot thank the team enough - Julien, in particular, was so hospitable and gave us carefully curated recommendations for the nearby area (markets in Uzes, wine tasting at Domaine La Réméjeanne) as well as booking us an amazing local restaurant for a dinner one night (La Table de Marine - 6 tables, limited menu with all locally sourced food).

“Perfect hotel, perfect restaurants, perfect staff.”
This is a stunning hotel and having spent 4 nights there we couldn't find fault - there is so much to love. The Chateau and the gardens are stunning - and throw in a lovely, heated swimming pool with very hot weather and you have holiday perfection. We ate in the bistro 3 nights and the food and ambience were exceptional. We also ate in the Michelin starred Le Cedre restaurant and the 7 course taster menu was faultless. Perhaps the nicest thing about the hotel are the staff, who without exception were the friendliest, most professional group of people - a credit to the Chateau.

The place it is absolutely beautiful , rooms and clean and decorated with style . This place is pure magic . And is dog friendly with a lot of green space to walk your furry friend . The restaurant is amazing and the food superb!!! We really enjoyed it ! Merci :)

“Wonderful service, everything was exquisite”
We stayed at the exquisite Chateau de Montcaud for three long, glorious sunlit days in July 2024. What can we say? Perfection, perfection, perfection. We were greeted on arrival by Julyane, the concierge. Julyane was one of the main highlights of our stay. Charming, welcoming, kind and very efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. His first words to us were. “You can relax now. We will look after you. “ … And they did. Breakfast and dinner in the Bistro. Some of the best food I’ve ever eaten. Dinner at Le Cedre was beyond compare and should not be missed. And for a 1 star Michelin restaurant it was very good value. The poolside service was perfect. Unobtrusively. I’ve attached photos but it does not do this beautiful building and fine, fine service justice. We will definitely be returning next year for a repeat. Wonderful, don’t hesitate to come here. We stayed in a privilege room. Bed very comfortable and air conditioning very efficient - and we were here in a heatwave. Everything was immaculate.

Magical place, highly recommended. Service was implacable. Room was specious and very comfortable. Big comfortable bed. Free parking and free available bicycle so you can ride and travel in teh area. Swimming pool was great to refresh after a long hot day. Attention is given to every little detail which makes staying here a unique experience. The restaurant is highly recommended with delicious food and supreme services.
