“Wonderful location, fantastic villa”
We stayed for a week in Finisterre and loved every minute. Having spent the previous week in the South of the Island with the tourist infrastructure this week was a wonderful quiet contrast. The villa it in its own substantial walled garden. The pool was bigger than we expected and very welcome several times a day to cool off. The villa itself was clean and very well equipped (it took a while to find the “hidden” cutlery drawer), everything we needed. The area is a little busier at weekends as some of the villas are owned by people who live around Willemstad and come up for weekends, but even then, it was very peaceful. There are a few delightful restaurants, Sol Food being within easy walking distance. There are two fantastic beaches within walking distance, and our morning routine was snorkelling with the turtles in Playa Grandi. Also, a special shout out to Hynrich the local manager and Susanne the owner who made us so welcome. Highly recommended.
