“Excellent”

Very nice stay in a tidy, well organized and fully equipped home. We stayed one week and have been able to enjoy a lot of activities around the saariselka/ivalo/inari region. It was a pleasure to come back each day to this house. I highly recommend. It’s also a great spot to watch auroras at night !!

The location at 5 minutes by car from saariselka was perfect to spot the best auroras. The apartment was really functional with everything you need to cook and enjoy the sauna. Perfect for 4 people. The host was really nice , we made a mistake in the reservation and booked for 2 but he helped us with additional bed sheets and towels.

Beautiful, warm, spacious and cozy accommodation. Perfect, quiet, location close to Saariselkä shops and restaurants. Ilkka the owner is a perfect host, guide and he can arrange all kinds of activity’s. We had a great time and made the most beautiful memories.

“Lovely house for Wintry Weather”

The house was comfortable and well heated. The dry cabinet in the bathroom was very handy. Clothes dry fast. Sauna was good. Most importantly, we saw northern lights at our doorstep 2 out of the 3 nights. Enough snow for us to make snowman and sled to have fun. Very good value for money.

Fantastic property for anyone looking to stay slightly away from the city. We were only 2 of us but the property had 3 rooms, a living room, kitchen, large washroom and sauna so plenty of space. Would definitely visit again if in the area. strongly recommend!

“Our favourite stay in Lapland!”

The location was perfect. Peaceful surrounding in nature. Aurora above in the evening and reindeer roaming around the property in the morning. Warm and comfy, had everything we needed and we loved the sauna!

Property was well located about 1-2km from town with one other adjoining apartment. No other nearby property and a herd of deer passing the property occasionally. Bed and seating comfortable.

Very nice cottage. Very clean and perfectly equipped. Great for exploring the national park. Would definitely book again next time.

Good location, just outside Saariselkä. Host was super helpful, and fast to communicate with us. Very comfortable (awesome beds), very well equipped, and excellent sauna. Low light pollution and clear surroundings. We managed to see some auroras from the front porch!

Really nice place. All the comfort you need for a great vacation: Floor heating, fireplace and very comfortable beds. A little outside the village so you can enjoy the quite, but just 5 min from the village (grocery shopping etc.). Really nice host who also offers activities and tours. We really enjoyed our stay! P.S.: If you are lucky you can see the aurora directly from the house.
