Everything was really good! The 2 owners are very kind, the room and the common space were really pretty and clean, the breakfast was tasty and the hot tub was really cool! The location is also good, near the beach and the hot springs!

True to its name, Sunny Side Up B&B, was all that and more! Carine & Theo were such warm, welcoming hosts. The Sunny suite was just that - bright, clean & stylishly fitted. Everything was thought out carefully to make your stay exceptional! Then breakfast was a gourmet's delight - fresh herbs from the garden, home-made chutney & Belgian waffles, like sugary clouds. Do yourself a favour and treat yourself to a perfect peninsula escape!

The hosts were fantastic. We had a vintage car and they moved their car out of the driveway so ours could go first and be under cover They were very friendly. Breakfast was great

The host was very welcoming and explained everything well. The jacuzzi was great and being able to have a Belgian beer / bubbles while we were in the jacuzzi made it very relaxing. Everything was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was delicious! We plan to go back.

Carine was beautiful and nothing was a bother to her. Breakfast that was available was amazing, the quality of products (Milton Brown toiletries) the linen, cleanliness, honesty fridge is a great idea but we’re not drinkers, spa was to die for, lovely yard and outdoor area to have a meal or just sit and relax, nice little kitchen, dining area with seperate tables for each room and a big living area. The bed was like heaven. Nothing is spared. I did notice a few awards for best BnB, my only question was why they haven’t won recently. It deserves an award!

Breakfast was delicious, with fruit and yoghurt, eggs and waffles all on the menu. He owners were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and he bed comfy.

Beautiful spacious room, excellent modern and clean bathroom facilities, easy parking and a large open plan communal area including outdoor area with deck and outdoor furniture. Delicious included breakfast (three courses). Would recommend.

Loved this lovely B&B for its spacious rooms in all spaces of the accommodation, lovely garden, and spaces inside. Shared kitchen space well stocked and access to fridge to store goods. Lovely breakfast and information shared by the hosts for local locations and tour recommendations.

Carine and Theo have created a wonderful experience for their guests. From the moment we arrived at Sunny Side Up B & B we felt welcomed, at home and they took time to show us the facilities and recommended local places and experiences nearby. The room, en-suite and communal lounge, dining area, and outdoor areas were immaculate and clean. We made good use of the outdoor Jacuzzi during our stay. Amazing! The 3 course breakfast was delicious and made and served with love, including Carine’s homemade authentic belgian waffles. Yum! Rosanne and Ricardo.

“A wonderful hidden gem in Rye”

The hosts were friendly and helpful, even cooked a delicious breakfast the next morning. Beds were comfortable with beautiful linen and decorated rooms. Great amenities, communal dining and kitchen area with all that you need. An outdoor spa was a fabulous treat. Manicured gardens and a nice quiet location. Close to different attractions or wineries/dining venues etc... they had lots of brochures or folders with things to do.
