The layout of the house meant you could have space if you needed it but it accommodated perfectly for our large group with the indoor and outdoor areas. Clean and tidy and plenty of off street parking

Love the four separate bedrooms each with a double bed so my friends and I had space. Very clean, cosy and awesome outdoor space. Will definitely be coming back.

“Don't go there if you want a relaxed and calm holiday”

Our stay at this property was the worst short stay experience I've ever had. The listing mentions CCTV cameras outside, but this is misleading. Upon entering the house, we realized there were not only cameras at the front and sides of the property but also one in the small backyard where we planned to spend most of our time. It didn't feel welcoming to think we were being watched and listened to while trying to enjoy time with family, kids, and friends. The owner frequently reminded us of the rules, clearly monitoring us during our stay. We mistakenly brought our small dog, having misread the no-pets policy. Within 20 minutes of our arrival, after observing us via CCTV, the owner informed us that pets were not allowed. Although I acknowledged our mistake and assured the owner we would keep the dog outside, promising to leave the house clean and cover any additional cleaning costs, we didn't appreciate being constantly watched. We received further notices from the owner, such as accusations of tampering with the backyard camera, proving they were actively monitoring us, which we found very intrusive. We were three families with kids, simply playing and enjoying ourselves, yet we received messages from the owner reminding us of the rules, ruining our holiday. I eventually told them to stop sending us messages directly and communicate any issues through the Booking.com support team, which stopped their harassment. The property is small, with no view or natural light, and the photos are misleading. The owner treats guests like workers or cleaners, thinking he owns a castle full of antiques. There were notes and instructions everywhere in the house. For instance, "Don't dry your face with the towel after washing it. If makeup stains are left on the towel, penalties are applied.

“Perfect little getaway location”

Location is fabulous, plenty of space for our group of 5 people. Could easily have 2 families share for the weekend in comfort. Short walk to the beach and local cafes and resatuarants. Great little outdoor area

Great location, plenty of room, comfy beds, had everything we needed. Very quiet and secure with enough of street parking for 3 cars. A great place to stay for golf, beaches, restaurants and shopping.

“Not recommended”

The merchant required an additional deposit amount called a "Security bond" and asked us to provide credit card details via a text message. This was an impressive way to keep the card details safe, considering that card details could easily be disposed of and overused anytime. After the bond had been charged, they sent reminders at least twice a day that an additional charge would be counted if they did not follow what they called "the house rules". These rules included cleaning the house, bathroom and kitchen, drying all the utensils, and putting the bins out when checking out. They turned us from customers into their housekeepers and cleaners. This was an over-standard of whatever hosting service. That was an amazing host and time staying at the property. Amazing business!

New clean roomy house. Good quality beddings. Plenty cooking gears. The back yard, dinning room, living room and kitchen are in an open area. The owner leaves plenty daily use cooking materials, such as rice, salt, oil, coffee capsules etc. We can feel the owner's touching and warm hearted.

“Perfect”

Sullivan's Retreat is perfect for a weekend getaway. Our stay was for 6 adults and two toddlers. The kids were so comfortable and the whole property was just divine. Exactly what we needed after a rough few months. Bedrooms were clean, warm and very comfortable. Kitchen was so well equipped with pots and pans, plenty of crockery and a wide range of condiments. We were left wanting nothing. The host, Andrew, was very available to patiently answer all of my questions leading up to the stay.

Everything was clean in the house. Amenities and facilities are great. Very secure with the garage and front gate. Plenty of room in the house for the extended family. The host was very responsive to the messages I sent. Thanks for hosting us.
