“Strongly recommended by a happy gest”
Rumburk isn't a big place. The hotel was right on the square in the middle of town and handy for everything I needed to do. There was a friendly welcome on arrival, the room was clean and quiet, the breakfast was everything I had hoped for, and the steak house and pizzeria that's part of the complex served me a lovely dinner accompanied by good Czech beer with prompt and cheerful service.

Hotel is situated at a main square that can get extremely noisy (often drunken people making noise even through late night hours), this happend almost every night of our stay. Hotel staff offers ear pods to help eliminate such a noise but no one will tell you in advance that this can very likely be an issue. Not exactly a fault of the hotel, it’s more related to the location and region and is a known problem with certain etnical groups or individuals are just not adopting even a basic standards of community living, that certainly can be big surprise for the guests. Hotel staff is in general very polite and helpful though. Restaurant on the other hand was extremely good, in terms of food, environment and service.
