Even before arriving there, I received two files: one listed all the tourist attractions in Rovigo, and the other, had a list of amenities. I found it very thoughtful.

Very friendly and helpful host, located close to the city center. Price is ok, but you get what you pay for.

“A Bed & Breakfast that doesn't do breakfast!”

Even though it called itself Sacco Bed & Breakfast, breakfast was not provided. In the UK, that would be contrary to the Trade Descriptions Act. I do not know the position on Italy but booking.com is selling the business outside Italy and including in the UK. To be fair, I did not check that breakfast WAS provided. But given the business name why would I?

“Perfect and excellent value”

The bed and breakfast was situated in a very homely town just off of the main road in. It offered secured free parking in an enclosed garage opposite the property and was within walking distance of local shops and amenities. The owner sent us all the info beforehand by WhatsApp and couldn't have been more accommodating. The room was basic and a little dated, but spotless and spacious as well as comfortable. For the smokers in our party, there was access to a seated covered area on a balcony. The beds were comfortable and the room was not stuffy. The bathroom had two sinks with a divider between which was very useful for us as a family. There was no lift but it was an old building, however the stairs were very easy to manage with luggage. For what you got, the price was excellent and much better value than most of the big hotel chains. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area.

“A very comfortable, relaxed stay”

Excellent location very near the centre, yet in a quiet area and with pasticceria, supermarket, post office, pharmacy etc nearby. Mr. Sacco was welcoming and very helpful, having also sent useful information even before I arrived. I stayed for three nights. My room and bathroom were very spacious and clean, with modern furniture and fittings. When I met the cleaning lady she also checked that I had everything I needed. In the building there is also a small kitchen area available with a microwave and table, as well as an outside balcony for smokers. The comfortable stay exceeded my expectations, especially given the very reasonable price of the room.

Clean, the owner was nice and preoared with lots of info, also spoke english.

The owner Luigi, was very kind and helpfull. He gave me news about the city and directions to many place that he make by himself. For smoker we can smoke in balcony outside room.

Mr Sacco was really nice, when I could find him, and the internet worked (a real bonus in this country). The building is best described as °interesting°, full of dusty art works, but it needs some work to drag it into the 21st century.

Hospitality was great! Big thanks to the owner who saved my ass when I went to the train station and realized I forgot the documents in the room, he prepared everything by the time I arrived back at the hotel he handed them to me and I ran back to the station, and caught the train last second Facilities were great. Big bathroom. Big bed, lots of pillows. Aircon

The owner delivered a lot of useful information before arrival and could help out in regard to which restaurants are still open even though I arrived rather late. The garage is locked overnight and thus rather save. It was also possible to leave the car there a bit longer and explore the city. The room itself due to its blinds is rather dark and even though its direct at towards the street rather quiet.
