Overview
Château D'Isenbourg is built on 12th and 14th-Century foundations and is located in the heart of the vineyards on the Alsace wine route. There are panoramic views of the Vosges Hills, the Rhine Plain and the Black Forest and Colmar is 16 km away. Decorated in an elegant and unique style, all rooms feature views of the park, vineyard or countryside. The property's restaurant serves refined, seasonal dishes. There are 2 different dining rooms in the restaurant, one dating back to the 12th-Century with Louis XIII décor and the other opening onto the terrace with views of the Clos d'Isenbourg Vineyard. Château D'Isenbourg features a seasonal outdoor pool with a panoramic view of the surrounding vineyards and the town of Rouffach. There is also a spa area with an indoor swimming pool, a sauna with a view, a hammam and a Jacuzzi with vineyard views. Beauty treatments are available and feature Decléor products.

Breakfast was lovely but pricey. Food was excellent both bar and restaurant. Room was spotless, very large with great views (deluxe room). Great aircon and characterful. Grounds were well cared for and quite grand.

“Wonderful scenic hotel”
Incredible building, beautiful views, exceptionally helpful and friendly staff, we felt so looked after. We particularly enjoyed dinner at the hotel restaurant. The pool and surrounding area was such a gorgeous spot to relax. The bedroom was comfortable and a nice size. Overall a magical experience and I hope we will have the chance to go back.

The position was perfect to visit the " route des vins", close enough to the typical villages in our to-do list. When you arrive at the castle, the outside is astonishing.

“Location, location, location”
This is an extraordinary Chateau in a stunning location that unfortunately needs some hefty capex on the rooms as they are pretty tired. Having said this the price is very competitive for the location and the chateau and therefore overall we had a very positive impression of the place.

“Can’t wait to return once renovations are complete!”
The food in the restaurant is absolutely fabulous. We went for the “menu saver” every course was better than previous. The chateau decor is tired but we cannot wait to return in 2 years when the renovations are completed, we have high expectations.
