Overview
This Alpine-style hotel is located in Rottau, 4 km from Lake Chiemsee. Gasthof Fischstüberl offers spacious rooms, free WiFi and a balcony offering panoramic views of the Bavarian Alps. Rooms at the family-run Gasthof Fischstüberl are decorated in a cottage style and feature cherry wood furniture. Every room includes cable TV, a refrigerator and a private bathroom with shower. Scheck’s Fischstüberl restaurant is warmly furnished with traditional wood panelling. Breakfast is served here as well as seasonal Bavarian dishes, including fresh fish from Lake Chiemsee. Guests are welcome to relax on the charming terrace with a sunbathing area. The Fischstüberl Rottau is an ideal base for hiking, cycling and skiing in the Chiemgau region. There is a private sauna on the balcony of some rooms (suite, family room, one of the two apartments with mountain view). The sauna costs 18 euros extra per day of use. Gasthof Fischerstüberl offers a free car park. It is 25 minutes from Rosenheim and a 40-minute drive from the Austrian city of Salzburg.

“Comfortable and pleasant stay in Rottau”
We stayed for one night at this charming family pension in Rottau while traveling back home from Croatia, and it was a lovely experience. The place was clean and comfortable, providing exactly what we needed for a restful stopover. Although the pension’s restaurant was closed on the day we arrived, the host was incredibly helpful and directed us to a nearby restaurant, which turned out to be a great choice. The next morning, we enjoyed a good breakfast in the pension’s restaurant, which set us up nicely for the rest of our journey.

One of the best family run guest houses that we stayed in. Very clean, well renovated. Service and stuff was super super good. Thet also have a restaurant with fresh fish that is great for dinner. Can only recommend 100% they also didn't charge us for thw beer in the evening abd left ua some chocolate as welcome.
