The location is perfect for a stroll into the old town. Easy to find and car parking available. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. We had a room with a terrace, tastefully decorated, with everything we needed. Very comfortable beds. Breakfast had lots to offer and had a beautifully presented continental breakfast area where you help yourself. Hot cooked options are offered also. Loved staying here, very modern and impeccably clean & tidy. Can’t wait to return.

A beautiful building and a fantastic room, located just a few steps away from the city walls. There is a communal kitchen area at the entrance where you can prepare your own food, along with an honesty bar, all very well done. The breakfast was exceptional, definitely not to be missed.

The hotel is >2 mins walk to the medieval town wall, which leads into the old town. We walked everywhere because the location was easy and convenient, even in mid-winter. The hotel is beautiful, and the room was great. As was the food. We enjoyed a leisurely, long breakfast which is one of our joys. Being in a hotel with a Michelin-starred restaurant was an unexpected treat. Somehow, we didn't realise in advance! The team is exceptional. One of our group, not staying in the hotel, fell ill and our hotel team helped them to find a doctor urgently. They even offered to call their own doctor if the local practitioners couldn't treat the individual. We will stay here again and have recommended this hotel to others already.

This property is just beautiful! It is incredibly clean and well-maintained. Our rooms were warm and comfortable, and we really appreciated the room service every day. We also had breakfast included and this was well worth it. The hotel is literally across the road from the old town, and there is a shopping centre (grocery store, bakery and a couple of restaurants) and a train station a short 5 minute walk away. On our last day, due to miscommunication with our travel agent, we had to get a taxi to Nuremberg. Itzel was so lovely and helped us to organise it. The staff were kind and friendly and I highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Amazing hotel 🙌🏻 we loved every aspect of Villa Mittermeier. Beautiful rooms with comfortable beds, water, tea and coffee, fruits and chocolate to welcome you in your room. The staff were amazing and so welcoming. Our train broke down in Steinach and the hotel arranged a taxi to come and collect us when there seemed to be no taxi’s available for anyone! Totally saved the day! We decided to have dinner in their Michelin star restaurant and what a delight it was. Truly beautiful, innovative and a tasty experience. Again run by wonderful staff who helped to make the evening unforgettable. Well done Villa Mittermeier!
