“Fantastic stay, cosy, comfy, in the heart of the Rothenburg.”

Such a beautiful little place, we had the two bedroom apartment and it was ideal for three adults travelling. The stairs up are pretty steep so if you're not so mobile or have huge bags it may be a little difficult to navigate. The beds were comfy and warm, it was clean, and the bathroom was large. Being November it's colder outside, but inside the rooms it was lovely and warm and cosy. Location is amazing, easy to get to from the train and you're basically right in the centre of the old town (within the walled part) - and about 50 metres from the iconic yellow building on the intersection. The owner was lovely and check in was super easy. There are snacks available to purchase in the room and a drinks fridge which could hold a couple of our own small items.

Location of property is outstanding - within 5 minutes walk of the town square, but also with paid parking 5 minutes walk away. Staff at the onsite cafe very friendly and give lots of info on the town. The property is one of 3 apartments above the cafe, with the 3 of us occupying the top floor. Because the house is 700 years old, it has a lot of quirks, one of them being that the staircase to the top floor is very narrow and winding with a sloped roof, which makes getting bags up and down difficult. We were also not aware that the top floor consists of two seperate bedrooms and a bathroom in the hallway between them, with the hallway being open to the staircase and the possibility that the people staying in the rooms below could come up. As expected, the floors were very squeaky, so we felt very sorry for the occupants of the rooms below when we had to get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom.

Lovely pension for a short stay in Rothenburg. Excellent location. Ten minute walk to car park and old town. Owners run cafe on ground floor - had a very good breakfast there. Everything clean and well equipped in one of the medieval houses.

This was a spacious apartment with in a very old building. It was close to restaurants and bars and main attractions. We were able to get street parking close to the accommodation.

Amazing location right in the old centre. It was cosy, warm, comfortable and was lovely to be in such a historic location. The owner was great at communicating although we never saw him - check in and out was extremely easy.

Such a great place. We loved staying in this old house it was such an important part of coming here. The strep creaky stairs were fun (would be challenging for some). Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were great. Conveniently located, close to shops and restaurants. We could see the wall and then the beautiful scenery from our bedroom window.

“Great Stay”

We had a wonderful one-night stay in this charming house located right in the heart of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. The house was cozy, clean, and perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay. Its location within the quaint little town made it easy to explore the picturesque streets, historic architecture, and unique shops. Rothenburg itself feels like stepping back in time, with its fairy-tale atmosphere and friendly locals. We wish we could have stayed longer to soak in more of its magic. Highly recommend both the town and this lovely accommodation for a memorable visit!
