Overview
This family-run guest house is located outside the city wall, a 7-minute walk from the historic centre of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Gästehaus Eberlein offers free Wi-Fi and is entirely smoke-free. Rooms at Gästehaus Eberlein are individually furnished. Every room includes a TV as well as an en suite bathroom with shower and toilet. A buffet is served each morning in the warmly furnished breakfast room. Guests are also welcome to relax in the shared lounge with cosy armchairs, sofas, a cold drinks and a refrigerator. Gästehaus Eberlein is a popular base for hiking and cycling along the River Altmühl and Tauber Trail. A locked bicycle garage is also provided. Rothenburg ob der Tauber Train Station is a 2-minute walk away. On-site parking is free, and the A7 motorway is within 2 km.

Unfortunately, I only stayed for one night, as the hotel was absolutely lovely. I believe it is a family-run business, which gives it a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Both the room and the bathroom were very clean. The room was spacious, cozy, and well heated. Mine even had a small balcony with a beautiful view, which made the experience even more special. Everyone was extremely friendly. Breakfast is charged separately, but it is definitely worth it — it was delicious, and during winter many cafés in town do not open very early, so it was a great option. The location is also excellent. We were able to leave the car in the hotel’s parking area and do everything on foot, as it is close to the city center. They were also very thoughtful in sending us the information in advance. Since we arrived a bit later, everything was arranged for a smooth self check-in, which made things very easy

The room was absolutely enormous, with a little enclosed balcony/conservatory and a small entryway. Everything was spotlessly clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning.

I like that the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and facilities was well managed. The breakfast was delicious. It was also a very gentle and nice walk to the main square and we had a really good stay! Highly recommend.
