Excellent location, the place is just fantastic! out of the rush and crowded Rothenburg but so close walking 10 mins within a beautiful forest with the warm of the trees and singing birds! Room was comfortable, a lot of space, so clean, so nice! Breakfast was great and the perfect spot for a nice morning conversation with Alexander (the owner) about Rothenburg, history, family, Germany, We love it!. One of the best location in Rothenburg!

I had a very pleasant stay here. The hotel is located in a beautiful valley just a short walk from Rothenburg's historic center, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere while still being conveniently close to the town. One of my favorite things about this location was the surrounding walking trails. There are several pleasant paths nearby, making it easy to enjoy a relaxing walk in nature. The valley scenery is beautiful, and the area feels especially peaceful in the evening. After spending the day exploring Rothenburg, it was wonderful to return to the quiet surroundings and enjoy the calm atmosphere. The combination of convenience, natural beauty, and tranquility made this stay particularly memorable. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys both historic towns and scenic walks.

The hotel is nestled in a valley, which is fantastic and allows you to experience the local atmosphere. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the host is very nice. Google Maps only shows the main road, but you can walk along a side path and reach the hotel in about 6 minutes.

Very friendly staff, room were nice and cosy. When my battery died from my car it was the owner who helped me kick start it again! Very sweet people and very nice accomodation If you take the forest road to town it is quite steep and there is no light when it is dark

Very cute and cozy place and friendly host! The breakfast was lovely too and the price was good. When we first arrived I was afraid it was too far from the old town centre of Rothenburg but I soon discovered the surroundings were absolutely stunning, with nice and quiet nights, and the 20-30min hike towards the city(taking it slowly) was perfect for our little dog ( who was very welcome in the BnB) to roam free and play in the fields and forests. So I much preferred it over a stay in the centre. If you're more active you can reach town in about 15minutes.

Romantic pension close to the river, deep in the valley, extremely friendly and helpful hosts, parking available, clean rooms, self-made breakfast. 15 min walk to town, uphill but beautiful, hiking paths all around

The location itself is superb: in the valley right at the walking path to Burgtor. Spacious rooms. Clean, comfortable, calm & quiet.

Very quiet area. A bit of a walk up to Rothenburg but easily doable in 15-20 min. The house is a converted former water mill. The rooms though dated were clean. The bathroom and towels too were clean. There are common facilities for coffee etc that one can use. The basic breakfast had a decent spread and quite affordable. Scrambled and fried eggs could be ordered for extra free. There's parking for 4 cars in the compound. There was even an electric car charger which is not advertised well so we saw it only when we were leaving.
