Overview
Located on Santa Margarita Beach in Roses Bay, Hotel Montecarlo offers a spa with sea views. All air-conditioned rooms come with a balcony and sea views, and bicycles are free to rent. All rooms at the Hotel Montecarlo have simple décor with tiled floors. Each features a fully-equipped bathroom and satellite TV. All have partial or full sea views. There is a bar, which provides live music and entertainment, as well as a large terrace with views of the bay. Offering show cooking, the hotel’s buffet restaurant serves a selection of Spanish and international cuisine. All guests have free access to the spa facilities. Figueres is just 17 km from the Hotel Montecarlo and is home to the Dalí Museum. Dalí's charming house-museum in Portlligat is a 25-minute drive away, and the Aiguamolls Nature Park is just 5 km away. Parking is available on site (subject to availability).

The staff were great. On arrival there was a problem with our booking - totally our fault, nothing to do with the hotel at all. The Manager, and he gave permission for me to use his name, GABRIEL, went above and beyond to sort it out smoothly, quickly and fully. He didn't have to, it was our mistake. We had resigned ourselves to our error and were getting on with having an arrival beer. He then appeared at the bar to let us know he fixed it - we didn't even know he was doing it, or even that he could. He remained a delight the whole trip. Thank you Gabriel.

The breakfast was delicious, the staff were very helpful and accommodating. The location was fabulous opposite the beach and 15 min walk into the centre.

The location is excellent right on the beach . The rooms were good . The staff were also excellent in all areas but especially the young lady on front desk in the mornings who was always most helpful

“Not to go back”
The property was old hat and the rooms were small and not very comfortable the aircon was not working and as a hotel with 4 stars and a wellness centre beside the beach they had no towels for the beach and you could not bring the room towels to the beach
