Excellent location for Rosedale quay, 2 minutes walk away. Supermarket directly opposite. Swimming in fjord just behind supermarket. Easy walk to the barony. Busy restaurant downstairs -may need to book.

The breakfast was more pleasant than I thought it would be based on the previous reviews: it was enough for my breakfast and lunch.

It was an amazing experience, and I’ll definitely visit again. I wasn’t satisfied with the breakfast at first, so I requested a change in the restaurant kitchen. The cook prepared a superb alternative that we absolutely loved. The lady in the kitchen was also very kind and cooperative.

“Norway road trip”

We were able to self check-in. We were travelling on a motorbike, the restaurant staff allowed us to park it under the canopy at the back as it was raining all night. We liked the shared kitchen area, breakfast was left in the fridge in the morning in a marked take-away box. There was tea, coffee and hot chocolate available. The room was good, clean and comfortable with a good view of the fjiord.. The shared bathrooms were very clean and readily available. There are 2 showerooms with toilet and sink. 2 toilets with sinks. The co-op is across the road if you need it. The restaurant below was really good...I suggest you book ahead. Contact them separately.

“Simple accommodation right by the pier”

Its a very basic motel, electronic check in and entrance code. Very simple but clean and functional . We could check in early which was great. No human being spotted during the stay but everything worked fine.

Excellent location beside the dock to get to Iris restaurant. The town is beautiful and there are great hikes on your doorstep.

“Great value, comfy stay”

Easy to find, close to the ferry and bus station, close to shops, restaurants and walks, very comfy bed, very powerful and hot shower, room was really clean and breakfast was simple but sufficient. We stayed in room 1 and I slept like a baby! Only slight road noise until 10pm ish and some movement downstairs in the AM, but nothing I could sleep through.

The location is brilliant, a 2 minute walk from the pier with a supermarket opposite and a short walk from the village centre.

The communication with the place was impeccable and always on time. The bed was comfy and also there are two showers with toilets which makes everything easier. There is also a big parking next to the motel, which is nice.

Great location, especially for hiking. Very good restaurant downstairs. Although our room did not include a bathroom or toilet, they were clean considering that they were shared with other 8 rooms.
