I had a beautiful stay at this homestay. They were soo accommodating, welcoming, and made sure that I had everything I needed for a wonderful stay. Their location is also central to all the hiking and falls in the area. I highly recommend them!

Ideal location for hiking, excellent food, and a very nice couple

We loved the reception we had, the excellent meal prepared and the kindness of the hosts. It was an excellent opportunity to know local customs and people.

I originally booked with Tim and Mag's for the 9th until the 15th February but after another accommodation cancelled my booking, Tim's and Mag's confirmed that they could accommodate me for the additional dates until my departure from Dominica. Tim and Mag's went above and beyond in assisting me during my stay, especially as the reason for my visit, was to bury my mum's ashes (who was a Dominican). Not only did the help in the finalisation of my mum's burial but also on the day, drove me to my mum's memorial service. I found them to be very empathetic and understanding, given my situation and the purpose of my visit. For this, I cannot thank them enough. Both Tim and Mags are very friendly and hospitable, making sure that you were made to feel at home. I found them to be very informative and showed a pride in sharing the different aspects of Dominica. Not just the 'touristy' parts but also areas of the island that are not really visited by tourists. As a solo female traveller, both Tim and Mags made me feel at ease, sharing jokes and stories during my stay with them. They made you feel like one of the family and not as 'a tourist'. The room itself was quiet and peaceful, with the sound of the crickets and birds. Clean towels are provided and you have sole use of the bathroom and shower, which I found to be reassuring. The room was clean, with a fan provided if need be, though I found once you open the windows, the room can be nice and airy. All the windows have netting on them to prevent any mosquitos flying into your room. If (like me) you do your own washing, there is a washing line at the front for you to dry your clothes. The location of the property has some beautiful views of the mountains and the countryside. The location, is in the country but you can catch a local bus, situated at the end of the road, which can take you to Roseau Town.

​I had an amazing time with Tim and Mag! They showed me true Dominica hospitality and made me feel very welcome. We had great conversations, and I really enjoyed talking with both of them. ​The food was outstanding. Everything was organic, fresh, and delicious. If you want to meet wonderful people and eat healthy, local food, you must visit Tim and Mag. I highly recommend them!

“Splendid”

If you are willing to really enjoy the various attractions the National Park offers, you definitely need to stay in Laudat, because going up and down from Roseau can be expensive and time consuming. Once in Laudat, I recommend staying with Tim and Mag, and having all meals with them. Tim is the perfect host, helped me planning the activities, took me to some areas far from Laudat and even called the guide I went with to Boiling Lake to make sure I was ok. Mag cooks marvellously and having dinner with them was a pleasure every night. I had a lovely time in Dominica and staying with Tim and Mag greatly contributed to that.

Very nice couple that takes you in like Family. Perfect place to visit the boiling lake area and to learn and to introduce yourself in to a local place. The food and the sandwiches for our walk were incredible !

When Tim and Mag feed you, they really feed you. Food and fruits right out of their garden. They are very knowledgeable of their area, and are very helpful. It was a pleasure for us staying with them, and having after dinner chats with them. We learned a good deal about Dominica. I hope we could meet again.

Very friendly and nice hosts. Notice, this is a homestay, so Tim & Mag are there with you...which for me was a great experience. Nice conversations, dont cheat yourself for the great homecooked food. They took me around and showed me some great places. I highly recommend.

Tim and Maggie were great. They were helpful. Always laughing I was not always sure why.. I think it is because they are so easy going. and seem to just enjoy the day

We've been very welcome at tim's and mag's. They are very nice people helpful. The cook is delicious and the portions are big. Mag's made us taste a lot of différents things. We had very interesting discussions about dominica, his culture, his people... Tim came with us at fresh water lake. We had a very good Time. The room is big and has all the confort. We recommande this place

“The best on the island!”

The hosts were incredible! The food I paid for was delicious and home cooked. It is located walking distance to a few waterfalls, lakes and boiling lake hike. Easier to arrive by car. I took a bus and hitchhiked (which is common around there).

Great hosts, super friendly, they made tasty homemade meals and juice from the garden. Location was great for main sights of the area. Good wifi. Area is calm :)
