Carol and Chenni were very welcoming, arranging a taxi to collect us (we did pay) and even recommended and booked a restaurant for Sunday night. Location was a 10 minute walk from the main port area with lots of eating options They were flexible being able to offer us a fruit breakfast when we had to leave early.

My second time staying at the wonderful St. James Guesthouse. Returned back after 3 years, and it was even more wonderful than what I remembered. The owner along with all of the employees are absolutely lovely. You truly feel at home with a lovely family like atmosphere. The rooms are authentic and have exactly what you need. Enjoyed having Netflix on the TV along with Aircondition in the room. Breakfast was delicious with great additional options you pay a cheap price for. Location is the best in Roseau, next to a car rental, walkable distance to everything (Ferry terminal, Markets, Restaurants/bars, Local busses to Portsmouth or Trafalgar). Cannot recommend this place and the employees enough. One of the many gems in Dominica! Thanks to the team once again 🙏

“central location and helpful stuff”

The location is perfect for those not driving, it is a 10-minutes walk to downtown. It was great that a simple breakfast (fruits, cereals, bread and coffee/tea) was included. Also the owner (Cheney) was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with.

Very sweet staff. Lovely local breakfast with fresh fruits. The staff take good care of their guests. Its at walkable distance from town. I would come back.

I stayed at St James Guest House and absolutely loved it. I really appreciated the warm welcome — the staff were attentive, helpful, and very friendly. I would definitely go back. The location is great: about a 10-minute walk from the ferry terminal and 5 minutes from the city center.

“The four Cs:- Close to town, clean, cost-friendly, comfortable”

Breakfast included with the room, consisted of various fresh fruit (yum!) and toast, jams etc.. We bought a cooked breakfast on one day (also nice). Our host (Chenney) and other staff were so lovely and helpful. Rooms are cleaned very two days. It is also close to the town (about 10 minute walk). Access to Netflix.

The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was great, with fresh food, good coffee, and toast. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is located in a relatively calm area in Roseau.

Lovely Guesthouse in walking distance to town. The staff was very welcoming and super helpful. My room was comfortable with everything you need. I highly recommend this Guesthouse to everyone who spends a few days on this lovely island.

The breakfast consisted of fresh fruit every day and that was a plus for me. Every major shops/supermarket was situated in close walking distance and that was so convenient. Ms. Carol and all the staff was so super friendly!!!!

Our room was air conditioned and comfortable just like the pictures shown. The room, bathroom and shower were clean, spacious, and were also cleaned on schedule. We had a full closet and a small dining table with a couple of chairs. Free wifi was included throughout the property. The restaurant was located outside and had covered and uncovered seating. The hosts were warm, friendly and very accommodating with our questions and requests. The staff we encountered were bilingual (ENG./FR.), welcoming and professional. Breakfast was simple, delicious with fresh fruits, bread/toast (butter, jams, peanut butter and cream cheese), cereals including freshly brewed coffee and teas. There was also a barista machine. Additional breakfast menu items were for sale.

Breakfast was very basic, would be nice to have a cook breakfast at no extra cost. Location was excellent, no problem getting around the town, very central.

The location was perfect for walking to Roseau and back. The room was clean, well organized and comfortable. Breakfast was great! The staff was welcoming, friendly and responsive to requests. I will stay at St. James again in the future.

The staff were super helpful and friendly. The location was close to the downtown, bus stops and ferry terminal. The continental breakfast was wonderful with a coffee machine and a great variety of fresh fruit.
