Superb location in the historical centre of Roros. Delicious buffet breakfast of hot and cold food , Fresh local produce. Our room was spotless and cosy with comfy beds and looked out into the traditional Roros style courtyard with scenic views. It was lovely to see Roros in the snow .

The location in the middle of Røros is perfect. The room was quiet. The breakfast was very good. It is possible to eat a light meal at Berkel & Bar.

Absolutely top class. I really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and in the town of Roros. It is unique, never have. I stayed somewhere so historic but was the modern facilities. Definitely recommend this as a must place to visit. There was so much history and the historic buildings. Just wow factor the staff at the hotel also made the stay so memorable. It's one of those moments in time. You won't forget

Central location (which is not difficult in the small place like Røros), strong local vibe, friendly stuff. The place was well heated which was an absolute must in harsh winter conditions.

“Too short a stay in Røros”

Røros is a village of character and this hotel compliments the village with its informal layout and repurposing of its buildings the hotel was exceptional. We ate in the restaurant from a fine menu and needless to say the meals were first class. Last but not least were the staff who could not have been more helpful. Superb

Rooms are located in authentic old wooden buildings in the historic centre of Roros. Very comfortable one-night stay, good breakfast. Easy access to railway station, mining museum and town walking tour.

This hotel is located in a very special town. It has a unique charm because of the location and decor. However, for us what made our stay so special was how helpful the staff were. We had a problem with our luggage and they ensured that it was sorted with no fuss.
