“It feels like staying with family!”

It was like staying with your aunt and uncle. The hosts did everything to make you feel at home. And best of all: the whole breakfast was home made, including the yoghurt, jam and juice! The B&B is within walking distance from the train station and the airport, but if you don't want to walk you can take a bus for one stop. Bus tickets are sold at the bus station at Trieste Airport.

Owners were very kind and helpful. The accomodition was very clean and nice. Breakfast was homemade and lovely maybe some ham or meat would be lovely too but it was very good.

“Inexpensive b&b with very kind owners”

I was slightly surprised by the stellar rating the property enjoyed as the room was somewhat bare. However, the owner got up at 4am to take me to the airport in his car. This was exceptionally generous. It had been raining heavily earlier in the night and a thunderstorm broke out as we were driving to the departure terminal. Had he not kindly given me a lift, I would undoubtedly have been soaked.

The owner really knows the area well and gave us great travel and shopping advice. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was excellent. Everything was clean and neat and the house is beautiful, like a modernized country manor. Very quiet area, with a pleasant, public beach and nature reserve about 10 minutes drive from the house. Loved being able to park in the courtyard. We walked to restaurants nearby, for dinner, and then we could both enjoy some wine.

Juliano was a gracious host. There was a bit of a language barrier, but for the most most part, I think we managed. The breakfast that was provided was all baked/made by his wife, including the jams and yoghurt! The residence was absolutely immaculate as it relates to cleanliness. Juliano was also kind enough to drop me off at the airport the following morning, which I was very grateful and appreciative of.

“A Gem of Paradise in a quiet neighbourhood”

Large Private home with secure parking. Host (Ivana) was impeccably friendly and accommodating especially since we had an early flight out of Ronchis dei Legionnari (Trieste) airport. She was up with us to make coffee and provide a small breakfast. Simply a marvelous experience and highly appreciated. The room was cozy, bathroom was separate outside the bedroom, but private nonetheless. The rest of the house was impeccably decorated and truly reflects the care, discipline and personality of our hostess. There's no large sign outside on a post or at the entranceway. House number is clearly marked and Ivana responded immediately upon our arrival when we rang the buzzer. She provided us with door keys and a key fob for the gates leading into the small courtyard for our rental vehicle. Amenities such as shopping, restaurants and service stations are all nearby within easy reach by vehicle or by foot. Monfalcone is only a 5-10 minute drive. A must see especially the centre and beaches. Grado is also not too far away. So many other noteworthy sites also nearby. So much to take in but we were limited by our flight out in the morning.
