“Safe, clean property, make sure you get a good window.”
Our room had a view of the staff stairwell which is that compact that it let in no light so you quite literally couldn’t tell the time of day by looking outside. This stairwell was in use and directly faced our bed so the curtain was closed the entirety of our stay which made the room feel very boxed in. This would have been fine had the booking just stated ‘restricted view’.

“Another lovely stay at Baileys”
Great location - 15 min walk from train station. We have stayed here previously and noticed many new good restaurants within 10 min walk radius which means it’s a good choice if you don’t want to go far of an evening. 2O min walk to Spanish steps and 10 min walk to nearest metro. We were in room 205 which overlooked the Street. Double windows insulate well and we heard no night noise (only a little street anyway). Bed was very comfortable as were pillows. Plenty of wardrobe space and drawers space. Coffee, tea and water provided. Individual toiletries were lovely and fragrant. Hotel reception friendly and check in and out was efficient. Noted that no one on sight after 11 but you are given an emergency number and also told how you get in and out of main door. It is a “smart hotel” and is small so do not expect corporate facilities and lots of staff. It was good value for money.
