“Excellent!”

Very clean! Shared kitchen very useful to store food in the fridge. Host very helpful and thoughtful. The property is about 30m by bus from the city centre , we liked that very much as we were fully immersed in the Italian neighbourhood with local cafes/ restaurants and a lot cheaper. The bus journey is cheap and we can see the city at the same time.

We stayed at B&B La Maison de Jo for 5 nights and it was simply perfect. The accommodation is not located directly in the center of Rome, but for us this was an advantage – we could fully enjoy the real Italian atmosphere (it takes about 20 minutes to reach the city center). Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the very kind Gabriell 🥰, who explained everything to us, offered us coffee and water, and happily answered all our questions – whether about public transportation or local restaurants. We highly recommend trying the ones he suggests, they are absolutely FANTASTIC! Breakfast was tasty and more than enough – we always found something we liked, whether a croissant or other sweet pastry, along with excellent coffee. The host was always available by phone, and whenever we had a question or request, he responded very quickly. What more can I say? This accommodation was wonderful, and we already know that if we visit Rome again, we will definitely want to stay here. We recommend it with all our hearts! 😍❤️

The rooms are fine, very confortable and cleaned every day. One has everything that could eventually be needed there. Even a shared kitchen can be used in case.

“Comfortable stay with good connections”

Very tidy and comfortable room. Nice to have a little balcony. The self-service breakfast worked well. Nice area with good connections. We took the tram into the center and Trastevere and bus to Vatican.Shops and restaurants close by too.

Our stay was very comfortable. Very clean rooms, cleaning and replenishment of food and coffee every day. Good location from the city. I recommend staying here to see how real Italians live. The Tratoria near the housing were very good and not expensive. I recommend Hostaria da Settimio. We ate there 3 times. The owner will give you recommendations for your stay. The coffee shop downstairs, where there is a voucher for coffee and a croissant, is incomparable. If you're thinking about where to stay in Rome, you're definitely here!

“Not a safe place to stay”

Whilst there were other guests using the accommodation we hardly saw them which made for a quiet stay.The proprietor was very helpful before and during our stay via WhatsApp and email.The bathroom was a good size with clean fluffy towels.The small balcony meant we could have an apperitive outside of the room before going to one of the many local restaurants for our evening meal.

Very caring and helpful staff. Spacious rooms with everything you need. There's a separate kitchen where you can enjoy breakfast provided by the hotel or cook your own meals if you prefer. The neighborhood is cozy and safe, with little local restaurants and friendly people. There are several bus stops within walking distance that can take you to the city center. For the best and fastest route, it’s worth checking with the hotel staff, as Google Maps wasn’t the most reliable guide in this case.

Very cozy place to stay. We felt very welcome there and the host was very helpful and we got quick answers to all of our questions through Whatsapp. The croissant and cappuccino downstairs at the cafe in the morning were perfect. And as an extra, the host had yogurt and sandwich material ready for us in the fridge. We could also make good coffee in the apartment.

Marco has been the best host! Upon arrival there was tiny cakes and a bottle of sparkling wine because I mentioned that it was my birthday. He also helped me with reservations for dinner that night and sent a lot of other restaurants that we visited throughout our stay. All were amazing! :)

I had the pleasure of staying at this charming B&B, and it truly exceeded expectations. The place exuded warmth and cleanliness, offering everything one could need for a comfortable stay. While the room wasn't overly spacious, it provided ample room for two people, and the balcony added a delightful touch. One minor inconvenience was the private bathroom located outside the bedroom, requiring us to use a key each time we accessed it. However, this was a known aspect prior to booking and didn't pose a significant issue. The location, on the other hand, was superb, with easy access to both the city center and the Vatican. The nearby bus and tram station, just a three-minute walk away, made exploring the city hassle-free. Breakfast at the downstairs cafe was delightful, complemented by an abundance of snacks available in the room. The daily cleaning service maintained impeccable standards, ensuring a pristine environment throughout our stay. Our experience was further enhanced by the exceptional hospitality of the staff. Lucrezia, the welcoming host, greeted us with warmth and provided invaluable assistance, including recommendations and help with tram tickets. Marco, the owner, also left a lasting impression with his attentive care, offering personalized recommendations for dining and sightseeing. Overall, our time at this B&B was truly memorable, and we would eagerly return and recommend it to others. Many thanks for a wonderful stay; it was an absolute pleasure.

The stay at the hotel was excellent. There is breakfast and you can make sandwiches. There is a cafe nearby with delicious food. Cleaning every day. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. It was my friend’s birthday, they told me where to buy balloons and helped me hide them. And also, they gave us an extra day of stay, which we could not book through the website. Of the minuses: Wi-Fi worked very poorly in the room, we needed to work and had to sit in the corridor, which was not at all comfortable. As far as I know now, the guys have solved this problem, which means that they listen to the client and improve the service, so this deserves high praise. There were also problems with the iron, it was very old and broken. It’s important for us to iron things on a trip, as they get wrinkled in the suitcase, so I couldn’t iron my friend’s shirt for his birthday. I think this issue will not be difficult to solve
