Overview
Horska Chata Skacelka has a sauna and is located directly on the ski slopes in the Krkonose Mountains. Guests staying at the residence receive a discount on ski lessons offered at the local ski school. All rooms enjoy views of the surrounding mountains, are simply furnished and have a private bathroom. Several are spacious and have a vaulted ceiling. Horska Chata Skacelka’s restaurant serves regional Czech cuisine. A range of drinks can be enjoyed at the bar. In summer guests can use the garden’s barbecue facilities or soak up some sun on the terrace’s deck chairs. The chalet is situated right in the Spartak Rokytnice Ski Region, which offers slopes suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers. The Krkonose Cross Country Skiing Trail is just a 10 minute walk away. Ski storage facilities can be used at Horska Chata Skacelka. Horse riding facilities and tennis courts can both be reached by car in 10 minutes or less. Vrchlabi and Jilemnice are a 30-minute drive away.

Short, 2night stay which was enough to enjoy the great hospitality of Skacelka. Nested in green slopes overlooking the village of Rokytnice and with stunning views for miles and miles. Very personal approach - big compliments to Jiří for his enthusiasm, his eye for detail, has passion about the service and for looking after us. Room may be smaller but all clean and very comfortable single beds. No TV in the room - great idea so nothing is disturbing the noise of nature, birds, sheep or rainy drops hitting the roof. Bathroom ok for one person at a time. Stylish and originally decorated restaurant with smaller, but really good selection of food (meat and pasta). Quality beers on tap. Breakfast ok, may be would offer some sweets too. Outdoor sitting so you can enjoy your meal or drink watching the stars, small pool to recover yourself after your day out , playing area for small children and also place when you can open small fire . Dog Friendly. This place does not need more. Ideal for individuals, couples on romantic break and also family meetings. Would come back again.

“exceptionally friendly host. Fantastic location. Great value.”
The host was amazingly friendly. We had a few extra requests, and every request was greeted with the same response: "not a problem". We loved everything about our stay there, but the host was definitely the highlight.

“Excellent place for the people who needs to disconnect and love mountains activities”
The breakfast buffet included cold cuts, cheese, eggs, and warm sausages. Yogurt and milk, plus cereals, were also available. Tomatoes and cucumbers were also available, as were many different quality teas and coffees. The restaurant is open as long as required, serving a limited menu but freshly cooked, tasteful, high-quality products. People are very nice, friendly and helpful! It was our fourth and not the last stay there!

Cottage does not have many rooms so you can expect more silence and privacy in compare to other large cottages nearby. Beautiful view of the countryside, friendly staff and delicious food are strong benefits.
