Overview
The Hotel Mare & Restaurant is a family-run guest house that is located in the seaside village of Roja, 500 metres from the beach on the Baltic Sea, two marina piers and a lighthouse. It offers rooms with a satellite TV. The rooms of the Hotel Mare & Restaurant are either painted in pastel colour or have wooden panelling. Bed linen and towels are available in all rooms, and they also feature bathrooms with a shower. The Hotel Mare & Restaurant has a sauna as well as a common room with a fireplace, a pool table and tea and coffee making facilities. There is also a banquet hall, a restaurant and a bar set in natural wood, and a summer terrace overlooking a marina, so guests can enjoy a meal and watch the sunset. There is a common fridge. Hairdryer is available upon request and guests can also use a washing machine. A bus stop is located within 500 metres. The property offers free parking.

Spent two nights here. It has a restaurant, they call it bistro with quaint opening hours (11am-3pm). As we were there mid-May (off-season) not a single eatery in the wide area was open at dinner time. When we wanted to cancel our 2nd night because of this, the bistro opened just for us.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast, nice view over the small marina. Rooms very clean, basic. But all you need. Great place to stay for a night on a long vacation.

I accidentally booked the wrong date, but luckily the owner resolved the issue and provided me with a spare room and kindly let me stay there at no extra cost! Even then, the staff answered my late call (at approximately midnight).

“Great place and hospitality”
Very basic hotel at the coast. At least when I was there the town was so empty and calm, and so the beautiful sandy beach. There was a young lady that took care of the whole facility including bistro, or at least it looked like that. I was a bit problematic guest because of my late dinner or early breakfast, so I really appreciate the hospitality. Give her a raise! :)
