Central location, very nice and clean, modern apartment with excellent view. Luka was very kind and attentive, he quickly responded any questions that we had, room service was provided every day, which was amazing. The apartment also has a small fridge, free coffee and tea. A very unusual stay in the old water tower. The room is spacious, the bed is very comfortable, and the heated floor is to die for! The homemade breakfast with the fresh orange juice was served by the host, Luka. He also gave us precious tips on what to see and do.

Our stay at De Tulpentoren was excellent. The accommodation was very bespoke and unlike anywhere we’d ever stayed before. Our host, Luca, was wonderful - nothing was too much trouble for him. The B&B was well placed for Krugenhof Gardens which was our main reason for visiting the area.

An exceptional B&B with a charming host. The beds are very comfortable, and the open-plan bathroom impresses with a rainforest shower and underfloor heating. For breakfast, host Luca offers everything your heart desires, and the kitchen on the 6th floor of the old water tower provides a fantastic view. Free parking is available right at the base of the building. This definitely won’t be our last stay here.

A very original and iconic building, clean , tidy and spacious rooms with a tv, coffee making facilities and a small convenient fridge. The view was beautiful from the breakfast room . The breakfast was wonderful with more than enough of everything. Luka the owner was very helpful before and during my stay, very friendly and ensured I had everything I needed during my stay . I would highly recommend this property.

Great accommodation in a unique setting. Luka has been an amazing host, and made us feel very welcome. The bedroom was nice with a beautiful bathroom, delicious and wide spread of breakfast and communication was also very quick and good. He was also happy for us to check in early, so we could get changed before attending a wedding nearby. Thanks for your hospitality!

The host Luka was very kind and gave us some nice tips for exploring the region, which we really appreciated. Great breakfast in a cosy setting - very homey feeling. Nice room also. Overall we had an excellent experience.

“Incredible stay with an incredible host! Would book again!”

This property was so unique and the host was amazing. I had told him that my mother was coeliac beforehand and he made sure that there were things at the breakfast table that she could eat (he does advise that, if you have dietary needs to inform him before your trip). The rooms were very comfortable and well-presented. He also gave us a very helpful list of nearby restaurants and shops. You could see the property easily around the town so we never worried about finding the hotel. Overall, a wonderful stay and I would absolutely book again!

The former water tower has been adapted for residential purposes in a very good way, making it an interesting place to stay. The hosts are very charming and warm people that made me feel home the moment I stepped in there. The tower is conveniently located nearby cute town of Leiden, tulip fields and Schiphol airport.

The building is unique! Never visited water tower before. Room was cozy and clean. Supermarket located literally 3 minutes walk ,but also there is a choice of restaurants. All night was silent, definitely place to stay. I will come back!

I absolutely loved the overall structure, especially the room and the shower. The breakfast was excellent, and the host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The beautiful sunset view was a highlight. The unique setting in a converted old water tower added to the charm. The small, picturesque town further enhanced the experience.

The breakfast was served on a floor of the tower with amazing view of the surroundings! I could even see the lake with sailboats while I enjoyed a buffet selection of breads, nice coffee and relaxing atmosphere. The room is a bit lower in the tower but it also had nice views in three directions! The shower is modern, the room is quite complete and the bed was excellent.
