Overview
Set in Rodalquilar, in the heart of Cabo de Gata-Níjar Nature Reserve, El Jardín de los Sueños is a beautiful boutique property set in 8 km² of gardens. This charming property is over 100 years old, and features an original round terrace and an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by olive trees. Set in restored outbuildings, the rooms at El Jardín de los Sueños feature arched ceilings, whitewashed walls and attractive, modern finishes. Each is accessed via a private garden and terrace, and includes air conditioning and tea and coffee-making facilities. Suites also feature a kitchen facilities and a seating area. Pets are allowed. You can relax in the Jardín de los Sueños' library, where there is a collection of books in 7 languages. Breakfast is served on the terrace or in the glass-fronted dining room, which offers lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The property has a quiet setting, ideal for hiking, cycling, horse riding, sailing and snorkelling. The nearest beaches can be reached in less than 5 minutes by car. You can visit the old gold mines, botanic gardens and the Volcanic Museum in the centre of Rodalquilar. Nijar is a 30-minute drive away and San José can be reached in 15 minutes by car.

The location, Rodalquilar and its beach “Playazo” are beautiful. The house and the garden cater for perfect relaxation after an adventurous day and the host is very helpful and can entertain you with interesting facts and stories for ours. And there is nothing better than to great the sun on the terrace where breakfast is served.

“A little haven”
This is a charming little hotel in a spectacular spot, it feels as if it's in the middle of nowhere but you can easily walk into Rodalquilar with all its bars and restaurants.

“Amazing nature retreat where you will recharge yourself.”
Spectacular views. Only several guesthouses on spacious area what give you a sense of intimacy. Beautiful garden and swimming pool, comfortable bed and good breakfast to start a day. Convenient location to explore Cabo de Gata. Very polite host, whose tips and recommendations are very valuable. Cozy place with feel of authenticity.

Chuli was so lovely and help us with whatever we needed. The location is very good since it is very close to Rodalquilar but isolated and you can breathe peace. The room was quite clean, The pool is nice but needs maintenance like the rest of facilities

“A perfect place to stay if you want to read your books finally.”
Breakfast is perfect with sufficient choice. The hotel is overlooking a beautiful desert landscape and is quite isolated. If you like a peaceful surrounding this the place. The cottage we stayed in, with an outdoor kitchen and private terrace, is very nice. The bathroom is small, but sufficient.

The setting is really charming. Peace and quiet. We had booked a studio, so we had a lot of space. The bathroom is also very spacious and has a bath as well as a shower.

The Jardin de los suenos deserves your attention. It is more than a hotel; it is a place where to relax, enjoy the landscape, the beauty of the garden, the pool, the rooms, the breakfast and the courtesy of your host, Eckardt. No comparison with hotels nearby or traditional ones; this place is something you cannot imagine before coming. Please, no hurry; you will appreciate it staying more than one night; allow your time to discover the small details, the design, the art which Eckardt transferred into this peaceful and quiet place. You will enjoy the huge and delicate breakfast served in the open space, looking at the margins of the ancient caldera; Eckardt pays attention to your needs, including the gluten free bread, and will tell you stories, directions, beaches and restaurants.

We loved everything! The position is just awesome, perfect if you want to escape from the world, but also strategically close to Rodalquilar, that offers some really nice restaurants! The pool is great for relaxing, with the cactuses around creating a special atmosphere...and in the night is even more special, thanks to the darkness that reveals a lot of stars! All is made more unforgettable by the courtesy of the owner, who's always glad to have a chat and suggest all the places that you should not miss in the magical Cabo de Gata.

“Faboulous place, very pretty and quiet to enjoy a lovely stay in a great area in "Cabo de Gata".”
We enjoyed a lot our stay, the host was lovely and gave us nice and useful tips to places to go around the area. The room was fabulous, plenty of space and super comfy bed. The whole place is very peaceful which we enjoyed a lot, spending some time around the fantastic pool and watching the stars at night. There are lots of different options for breakfast, all of them delicious. It's a perfect location to visit different beaches and enjoy the great "Cabo de Gata".
