“Pleasant, comfortable hotel close to historic Rocamadour”

The hotel is one of the closest hotels to Rocamadour with only a short walk partly through the hotel gardens to the Chateau at the top of Rocamadour. Restaurants or dinner are only a short walk away. Hotel as an open air swimming pool in the gardens. Breakfast can be taken in the dining room or in the hotel gardens.

The warmth, efficiency, style and feel of the whole place was simply superb and it is perfectly located for Rocamadour and local restaurants in nearby L'Hospital.

Wonderful location. Half way between the Chateau at the top of Rocamadour, and Hospitalet where the restaurants are. Walking distance from both, but you have to be reasonably fit to fully explore Rocamadour itself. Close to the top of the funicular if you can't manage the walk back up. Very clean. Good swimming pool and gardens with their own access to the promenade footpath.

The surroundings, the hotel it self is just perfect, the staff friendly and the destination perfect!

The staff were very welcoming and happy to help with some extra requests. I had a lovely terrace outside my room for a late afternoon picnic. There was a lovely atmosphere… The feeling of a lodge rather than just a hotel. Lovely grounds and access to walk to the ramparts.

The location and the natural setting within the precinct of Rocamadour is fabulous. Martine’s and Adrien’s attention to detail and personal touch resonates through out with out being over the top.

It was great, very clean, location perfect just a short walk to the lift.

Location superb and nice room, clean and tidy. We declined breakfast it wasn't in room rate on our booking and €16.00pp but I believe from other reviews it is excellent.

We had a wonderful one night stay at Hotel Les Esclargies - it was an ideal stopover during our road trip down the South of France. We had a great and welcoming check-in, and were given lots of information. The room was incredibly spacious and comfortable, and the air conditioning was a big relief after the near 40 degree heat outside! The location is perfect - just a 2 minute walk to an amazing view point of Rocamadour, then a short 10-15 minute walk into the town (just be prepared for the walk back up!) The pool was lovely and quiet too. Breakfast was tasty with plenty on offer. Would certainly recommend it!
