The location is very nice, really quiet. The cottage is comfortable and has everything you need. We were there on the last day of the season (30 Sep - 1 Oct). The managers were super friendly.

Authentic Icelandic wildernes houses and a camping side at the perfect location. An oases that's been created with much love and respect for the nature. The staff extremely helpful both about giving advises for roads and sides.

Very cosy and comfortable cottage, with small kitchen and bathroom. There were good curtains at each windows and doors for the light. Very friendly staff! Highly recommended!

“Couldn't ask for more”

We were on a 14-hour bike trip and this place was really the best we could have asked for. Late check-in with no extra price, warm cottage, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, and in-house shower. On top of that, the location was extremely beautiful and the hosts very kind. Highly recommend!

Very beautiful place

Nice location in the highlands, close enough to Landmannalaugar. Cottage was clean and cosy. Even if we didn’t meet the owner, communication was efficient. We saw aurora right in front our the cottage!

Lovely little cottage, had everything we could have needed, clean, well maintained and in a very good dark sky area for seeing the lights. Provided an ideal starting point for walking in landmannalaugar the following day.

Great value for money, close to the river with a nice view. Spacious apartment (since we were only two persons) and well equipped kitchen. The people were friendly.
