The hotel is located very near from the parking lot near riverside and has very historical atmosphere from the main gate to your room.Although the facility is somewhat old, this can be very reasonable considering the price. the best part of it is the owner is very kind and friendly, and always eager to satisfy my needs.

“A lovely old French house, full of character.”

L’Orangerie is a beautiful old house with lots of character and charm. It is such a surprise when you step through the door from the street and see the lovely courtyard beyond. We were travelling without a car and arrived by train from Collioure - l’Orangerie is an easy ten minute walk from the train station. Our room was huge, spacious and airy, with its own large terrasse which would have been lovely for sitting with a glass of wine if the weather had been better. The bathroom was enormous too, with double wash basins, double shower and a roll top bath. We had lots of French windows and were perfectly confident in leaving them open at night. Breakfast was a traditional French breakfast - coffee, croissants, bread, jam, fruit, cheese, juice - which we enjoyed in the courtyard. Our host, Claude, was most charming and helpful, even getting up early to make our breakfast in time for an early flight from Perpignan airport.

The hotel is in a beautiful building with an idyllic courtyard where the delicious breakfast was served. The apricot and fig bread was especially good. The building is very centrally located and it is a short drive to Perpignan or the beach. The rooms were extremely large with tea making facilities and a fridge. The bathrooms were well appointed and very large. We were there on a very hot night and felt secure enough to leave our door and all the windows open to get a breeze. The beds were very comfortable.

Large room on second floor. Airy, neat, clean, very nicely appointed. The host was extremely helpful, friendly and obliging, despite our limited knowledge of each others' language. Location was great, quiet and virtually in the middle of the 'old town'.

The room was large, light and airy. The location was great being close to the centre of village, the river and about 10 minutes from the station. My host was extremely helpful and convivial despite our language differences.
