Overview
Le Grand Large faces the beach of Rivedoux, on the Île de Ré. The property has an outdoor swimming pool, a hot tub and a restaurant with a terrace with sea view. Each of the Grand Large’s guest rooms has air-conditioning, TV and free Wi-Fi. Most rooms have a balcony with sea views or French windows opening onto the pool. Le Grand Large's restaurant serves international cuisine and French wines, which can be enjoyed on the terrace. A buffet breakfast is also available in the breakfast room or on the terrace. Guests of the hotel Le Grand Large can visit the nearby Chateliers’ Abbey, the St Martin Bell Tower and enjoy sailing and kayaking. There are also numerous cycle and hiking paths nearby and it possible to rent bikes on site at an extra cost.

“Disappointing, we picked this hotel because of it’s facilities which were not up to scratch.”
Restaurant was very expensive, not a lot of choice. It was closed for three of our six nights stay. Also the same menu for lunch as dinner

“Enjoying Ile de Ré”
Just perfect, very nice hotel. Well located and practical. The staff is excellent and available. The view from the room was really great. parking was available nearby. The room was big and well equipped. We stayed there with the whole family. We recommend staying there if you plan to visit the Island.

“Beautiful, clean, great hotel. We will return”
The hotel was so clean. The room was spotless and had all we needed for a short stay. The staff were very friendly. The pool was a gorgeous clean space and a bonus of an amazing hot tub! The view from our room was incredible. Right opposite a lovely beach. 2 min walk to the beach with lovely sand. We loved it.
