“Excellent hosts, good location”

Both Rex and Julieta were excellent hosts and gave us tips and ideas of what to do and where to go. The location was about a 10 minute walk in to the centre of Rivas and 15mins to the bus terminal.

It was a nice little spot close to the centre of town. The owner was great at helping out with regards in heading to the Costa Rican border. Bed was comfy, room was good.

Great hospitality as a solo traveler. I really enjoyed my stay. Rex and Julietta were incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home right away. The location in Rivas is definitely worth it and a perfect place to experience the real Nicaragua. It’s authentic, friendly, and a great spot to get a taste of local life. I can definitely recommend staying here!

Friendly owner. Sell the place as what it is. Nothing special but a good price and comfy beds. Therefore recommend this place for a few nights in Rivas. Internet works well and could check in early. Would book again, because of this refreshing honest place.

They were very gracious and responsive in accommodating us on short notice, were generous with upgrades ... and just like during our last stay, it was a 10/10 experience. “Ideal place to relax in between destinations”

This was a great place to relax after moving through multiple borders and before making my way to the surf spots, the owners were very friendly and offered many recommendations of where to head next.

The owners (seňora Julietta and her partner) are great and helpfull people. They make welcoming atmosphere. Rooms are simple, but clean. They can arrange for you a massage provided by seňora Carla, which we can only recommend! This place was our first in Nicaragua and we are grateful for that. It is not far from the centre.

My stay was exactly what I needed! A single room with a desk for catching up on admin during my travels. Rex was extremely helpful and generous. He suggested a bunch of great places to eat (he was not wrong), and helped me organise a taxi to my next destination!

“Good Value Choice in Rivas”

Run by a nice couple who go out of their way to keep guests happy. Very good wifi. Kept clean and everything functioned well. Cute little dog. Location is not far from the central square. Adequate shared showers and bathrooms so guests do not need to wait. Good water pressure. No hot water per se, but pleasantly refreshing as heated just enough by the water tanks on the roof.

The outside area is very nice. There's a table to eat at and a nice place to sit with a drink. Mike was lovely and was happy to have a chat with us and gave us good advice about our next travel. The rooms were comfy and clean.
