It's perfectly nestled in the middle of trees and flowers. You can easily relax in that place, go to the little river nearby with its little waterfalls and pools to dip in. The village is not even a quarter of hour walk. Tony is very welcoming and all the money goes for Costa Rica nature preservation. Simple and cheap place that serves a good cause, keeping Costa Rica as magical as it is. Pura Vida 🤍

“Great value for money”

Great jungle setting. Host Tony even did a beer run bless him. Clean basic facilities. I got a room to myself as only two guests and a nice fan.

The location is quiet and there is a stream very close to the place. Overall it was worth the price because the owner of the place was also really nice.

Very quiet place, remote. The bus station to San Gerardo and San Isidro is near by, the town on the other side of the bridge has everything for food.

“Relaxing atmosphere, perfect location”

This is the perfect spot for people on a budget who want to hit the hiking trails and national parks in the area. I hitchhiked to the Chirripo trailhead and back with ease. There are supermarkets at walking distance. The place is beautiful, quiet, right next to a river. Rooms were great temperature. You can see toucans while having breakfast :)

“Nice and relaxed stay in Rivas”

The accomodation is located in a remote area. The environment is calm and relaxed - in the middle of nature. But you only have to walk like 5 minutes to get to the main road/bus station, so you can reach destinations like Sendero Los Gigantes or Reserva Cloudbridge fast and easily. The hosts were very nice and welcoming. Everything was tidy.
