“Our experience at Residence Antares was nothing short of exceptional.”

This was our second time choosing Residence Antares for our stay in Risoul, and once again, it did not disappoint. The location of Residence Antares couldn't be better, especially for ski enthusiasts like us. It's conveniently situated near the slopes, allowing for easy access to the skiing action. One of the standout features for us was the ski locker. It was spacious enough to accommodate all our belongings comfortably, even with four people in our group. The convenience of having a secure storage space for our ski equipment cannot be overstated. During our stay, we opted for the studio designed for four people. Surprisingly spacious, the studio was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From kitchen essentials to cozy furnishings, it exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, we were delighted to find our studio impeccably clean. The apartment exuded a cozy atmosphere, further enhanced by the availability of games and books, adding a delightful touch to our evenings. One of the highlights of our stay was the pool area. It provided a perfect space to unwind and relax after a day on the slopes. The sauna, in particular, was spacious and provided much-needed relaxation for our tired muscles, making our skiing experience even more enjoyable.

Good location near SPAR, intersport, Le Strato restaurant for great food or Grotte de Yeti bar for the youth dance vibe till 19.30 and access to slopes across the road. Easy parking. Pool looked nice. Well equipped kitchen, nice bathroom. Big balcony. Nice manager. Don’t forget to pay online deposit before arriving (you get an email) and get the code for the key safe out before too. Great lifts in the block so so waiting and spacious lobby and bench at entrance which was great for putting on ski boots.

The software to take the deposit doesn’t work well with the French banking security verification. When I finally was able to make the payment with the help of the guy on the phone line (who was in fact pretty helpful) and waited to receive the email for the key code the 4G had degraded at the ski resort. My family were very cold we had no idea whether we would have some where to stay that night it was dark. We had no way to get the key and no one who could help us. To have a hotel without a reception in this environment is just irresponsible and negligent. The available staff just didn’t care. I had to ask another guest to sneak me inside so I could pay to use the WiFi to download the key code inside the hotel. I took around one hour to get inside the room when it was freezing and dark outside. Why not just take a deposit at the Booking.com stage? It was a horrible experience and scary for my kids. To have a 5pm checkin when it is dark and there is no reception is just pathetic lazy and profit focused to the detriment of guest safety.
