“Perfect stay to explore the Alsace Region.”

This property was the cleanest property we have ever stayed in. Absolutely spotless. It was decorated in true Alsastian flare - lots of character and pastel colours. The property was located perfectly for both exploring Riquewhir as well as other areas of Alsace. We seemed to only be an hour away from every direction we wanted to go. The view over the vineyards was very picturesque to wake up to each day. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting the village bakery each day for delicious croissants. Parking at the property was a bonus as on the weekends the village gets very busy and would be difficult to fine a parking spot. The hosts kindly made dinner reservations for us on the first night as we were arriving late - very much appreciated. Although they lived below us and could be contacted if we needed assistance, we had our privacy at all times. They also left us a welcome bottle of bubbles and some delicious homemade madeleines - very thoughtful.

Our second visit to Alsace. Staying at Gîte Riquewihr was an absolute joy. Our only real regret was that we didn’t book for longer. Irene and Jacques are exceptionally warm hosts with a true passion for the home that you share with them during your stay. This was a getaway to remember. We’re already looking forward to returning many times and couldn’t recommend it more highly.

This property is exceptional. The apartment is big, bright, extremely well fitted out and the views are amazing. The property is situated just outside the walls of the town overlooking rows of vineyards. It is a five minute walk into the main centre of the town. The owners were very friendly. The apartment is very new and attention to detail in the fit out is exceptional.

The property was spotless and beautifully decorated. Host Irene and Jac were very helpful and were there to resolve any issues we had there. There was complimentary champagne and pastries for us when we checked in on New Year’s Day. Glad that we spent 5 days in this beautiful apartment

Beautiful apartment, super clean. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Great location close to town but with wonderful views. The balcony was a great place to enjoy them while appreciating the local wines.

“A perfect week spent with our friends!”

Iréne and Jacques were perfect hosts, they were around throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well and see if they could help further. The gîte is beautifully decorated and comfortable, clean and well appointed. It is so peaceful and the view onto the vineyards is lovely, especially when the sun is setting. The centre of Riquewihr is within a few minutes' walk, where you can find plenty of places to eat and drink. Most villages in the Alsace area are quaint and within easy reach of Riquewihr by car. You can also take a train to Strasbourg from Sélestat if you don't fancy driving in a big town. We recommend visiting NaturOparC where you can see many Storks (March to mid-August) in their natural habitat as well as other endangered species.

Visited in late August .Irene and Jacques were the perfect Hosts . Their apartment, on the first floor of their house must be one , if not the best accommodation in the Alsace region . The decor and ambiance was amazing and the view from the balcony over the vineyards was stunning.
