The room was squeaky clean and very comfortable. The host already shared several tips for dinner, which was great. We stayed here to visit the Etna and have a day trip to Taormina, location was in our opinion ideal because the drives were not too long and with lovely scenery.

Spacious room with good air conditioning and a nice terrace to sit out on. Convenient for station to catch trains to Taormina or Catania. Also handy for the separate station to catch the little CircumEtnea railcar through the foothills of Mt Etna. Hosts left vouchers for a light breakfast of coffee and pastry at a nearby cafe with a friendly barista each morning. We loved the pizzas and the Pasta alla Norma at nearby Pizza Grano, on the list recommended by the hosts. We didn’t meet the hosts - we were buzzed into the apartment building remotely by them on our arrival and our room keys were in the rooms. Riposto felt like a genuine little Italian town and completely untouristy which we liked, while having good links to all the places you want to visit.

The staff was very accommodating to the late checkin time, location was great - walking distance to train station. Air conditioned rooms were also nice for the warm nights

What a nice place ! Although I only met the owners when I arrived they were welcoming and helpful. Unlike most places they provide a useful information sheet. The room was large with a fridge, and a spacious bathroom - and the bed was really new and comfortable. Theres a large terrace. Breakfast is at a great cafe round the corner. I would recommend it as a good base for exploring the area. Its very near the main train station and the start/finish for the Circumvetna train. And a short walk down to the harbour and beach. .

Free parking in front of the location was nice. The room was large and penthouse-like, with a big bed and a nice communal terrace at the back between the different rooms. Even though there is a station in the vicinity, we couldn't hear trains unless we were on the terrace. It is a 15-20 minute walk to the pebble beach.
