Our stay at Casa Ohana was one of d highlight of our holiday in this area. We were very kindly collected in Comillas by Ivan as we were walking d Camino. Casa Ohana is beautifully set in this picturesque countryside. The young people who run d house are fabulous, full of good cheer, humour and just couldn't do enough for us. Our room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious, with great variety to choose from. The following morning we were dropped back to where we wanted to start our Camino walk again. On d journey, we got a very historical and informed talk on d area.. it was our great pleasure to stay at Casa Ohana and to experience its peaceful and scenic beauty as well as meet with and have d opportunity to spend time with d wonderful young people we met there.

The entire staff were exceptional. The hotel is hidden away in the countryside yet within a short 10mins drive to incredible beaches which probably explains the chilled out relaxed atmosphere of the owner and her team at the hotel all surfers leading a very healthy friendly and fun life - The most welcoming hotel, I’ve had the pleasure of visiting and would highly recommend!!

Peaceful surroundings and a beautiful room. It felt very homely with lovely caring hosts. A special mention to Giulia who went out of her way to make gluten free treats and gave us many recommendations for the remainder of our trip. The breakfast was amazing! I would highly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway.

“We absolute loved staying here during our surf trip”
Casa Ohana is a charming hotel with a personal atmosphere in a peaceful part of the countryside with a beautiful view of the valley and surroundings. The house has a gorgeous garden to relax, and where you can pick fruits straight out of the tree. It’s secluded and quiet but not far from everything you might need. Near stunning beaches and multiple great surf spots (especially for longboarding). The inside of the house is recently renovated and really tastefully done up with a great shower and the most comfortable big bed we ever slept in. This home was a perfect home base for our surf trip. It is possible to rent high-quality longboards at the house and they even offer longboard coaching to improve your skills. We also loved hiking in the mountains of Picos de Europa and the medieval villages in the area. Bas and Elise cooked and served us delicious vegetarian healthy food (optional). The hosts are absolutely fantastic. And also worth the mention is that they have fiberglass internet and every room has a desk in case you need to do some work. We extended our stay as it was so hard to leave this place. An absolute must if you’re in the area!

“One of the best guesthouse I have seen”
We loved the stay. The settings is fantastic to enjoy some hours with the family in peace. The staff super nice and helpful. The food was amazing, we had dinner and breakfast all the time there and we were never disappointed. The decoration is impeccabile and you can easily go to different beaches by car, which would seem the only negative point, but we would do it again because the magic countryside was absolutely better than some hotel close to the coast. A perfect place for families, couples and groupes of friends.
