Roberto was the perfect host- so helpful and went out of his way to help us with any inquiry including taking our luggage to and from the train. We gave this stay 12/10- the room is wonderful- clean, bed very comfortable, view of the water to the side and a plentiful free mini bar with goodies and prosecco etc . There was so much extra value provided. The decor was calming, the location was not too high on the cliff so not too many stairs. Thank you to Ro to an absolute super star - we highly, highly recommend staying here.

Roberto was an excellent host from the train station pick-up with luggage transfer all the way to the room intro and the restaurant recommendations. He continuously checked in on our well-being and even met us at our room at 6am to send us to the train station. Rooms were awesome with the attention to details and the balcony with sea view was priceless.

Delicately decorated room. Roberto was such and excellent host! I have traveled all over the world, and I have never experienced such a level of genuine service. Riomaggiore is crowded with tourists, but somehow Roberto made us feel a bit like locals😊

“Believe the hype”

I absolutely loved my stay here in Riomaggiore. The room was excellent - there was air conditioning, a great bathroom, a comfy bed and even a view of the sea. You can throw open the windows and hear the waves as well as the hustle and bustle of the beautiful town below. The mini-fridge was stocked and included in the price! It was even re-filled daily, such good service. The location was perfect, right in the heart of town near the sea front, just a beautiful part of Italy. Finally the service... simply exceptional. Roberto is THE man. I was driving a sports car there that I was a little worried about, but he made the check-in experience just amazing. He met us at the entrance to the city and drove us directly to a parking spot he had reserved in the best bay in the lot. Then he drove/wheeled all our belongings to the front door... honestly if we were self-check-in I don't know what we would have done. He was on his phone constantly, replying within minutes if not seconds. He gave us the best dinner recommendations, including phone numbers of staff when the restaurant itself didn't answer! That particular restaurant, Fuorirotta, was excellent gave us the best table on the terrace and Roberto even got us 10% off! There's too much to say here but it's amazing how big a difference it makes. Grazie!

Roberto, our host was outstanding! he met us at the train station and was pro-active in sending ua ll of the inforamtion and explaining everything. Our room was recently renovated to a very high standard, and we were given fresh towels every day and the mini bar was restocked daily. the location was great and he deserves a 20 out or 10 rating.

Roberto took our luggage to the room from the train station, made multiple suggestions on things to do, and all were amazing. And acted as a personal taxi service. Lovely smart oasis of cool and calm right in the middle of town

The best rating in Riomaggiore is well deserved! Roberto is a wonderful man and very helpful - he can help you with the luggage, he picked us up from the train station, he gave me several restaurant recommendations and every time we met through the village we talked. He is very hard working and an excellent host! - maybe the best I've met in all my travels. The property itself looks great, excellent location, in the harbor and, very very important, the windows are excellent-perfect soundproofed, so the tourist noises downstairs won't be a problem. Oh, and everything in the minibar fridge is for free, nice small gesture. Another good thing, you can exit the building also through the back, so you can avoid the crowds. Also, near the top exit is a nice plaza, a little above the harbor, where you can stay without many other people, and watch the view. So, highly recommend and hope to return someday! All the best!

Roberto had welcomed us before our arrival highlighting things to do in Riomaggiore. He had offered to collect our luggage from the train. The room was one of the cleanest rooms I have stayed in, everything was spotless. It was lovely to have the complimentary mini bar replenished everyday. The room was fully equipped with beach towels, beach bag, slippers. After check out Roberto looked after our luggage and had them ready for us at the train station. The beds are really comfortable, everything about our stay was perfect and I couldn’t recommend this place enough.
