“Good value for money in Rio”
The Vila Galé won't blow you away with cutting-edge facilities or top-tier finishes, but for the price it delivers where it counts: a solid breakfast spread, reasonably clean rooms and genuinely friendly staff. Add to that a location right in the heart of the nightlife district, and it's hard to complain.

The hotel itself is so gorgeous, with a beautiful pool that you just need to dip into! The breakfast was extraordinary too, by far the best I had in Brasil. Location is excellent in the center of Rio, though be warned that it is still about an hour to the beach.

Beautiful hotel in colonial style, with big and clean rooms, amazing pool and big breakfast buffet. Also in the restaurant every night there is dinner buffet style with only 15€ per person.

Everything. The staff were very polite and helpful from the reception, to the cleaners. The man doing the fresh juice in the morning. Everything was perfect there. Short walk to Arco da Lapa. Amazing breakfast .

“An amazing hotel structure. Staff it's a bit faff!”
The hotel's structure was very good, very airy, with ample space to move around in all over inside there. The pool was incredible; I stayed in a room facing the pool, and it was on the ground floor, obviously. So that was exceptional! A poolside bar attendant deserves all the appreciation and respect for the work he does. Friendly, helpful, and always smiling whenever I saw him, unfortunately I forgot his name.
