We loved the setting and the style, and it was clear that every single detail had been thoughtfully considered. The architecture, just like the views, is incredible. The whole team Gabriel, Andre, and Marcello were wonderful. The food was exceptional, and our room was simply amazing.

“Unique”

Private Breakfast on our own glorious balcony, overlooking looking one of Rio's best views was a travel highlight for us. Can't recommend enough.

I booked a massage but they do not have a masseuse on the property and the one they have booked did not turn up and I had to wait 90 minutes. Took a long time for a drink to be ordered. However staff were very friendly.

A wonderful facility that exceeds expectations. A true home away from home experience with Andre the chef and Bruno his assistant the real stars of the show. All day chef services on call. A true taste of Brazilian hospitality.

Gerson and the team are great, always trying to make the best arranging things to make your stay better. The view is incredible and the breakfast is unbelievable!!!

We loved our stay at Cliffside boutique hotel. Waking up to that view and wave sounds is priceless. Paulo and Gerson made us feel comfortable and were of great care. I normally do not give reviews. But the Cliffside Hotel was a very special and extraordinary place to stay, calm with a great view and you will only hear the waves (and some helicopters passing by ;-) ). Old architect building with a special Charme. Thank you for this stay and the warm welcome from the team around Paulo, the lodging manager, Gerson and Chef Andre (great individual food!). Great team, always helpful and in a good mood. We will definitely come back. If you want to escape the intense atmosphere of Rio for a couple days, this is the place to go. Very individual place to be. Thank you Paulo, Gerson, Andre and the whole team!

“Incredible stay”

Very friendly hotel staff. Starting with our hosts Korá and Paulo who immediately made us feel welcome and home. Then André, the chef, who prepared awesome dinners at any time (it was even possible to ask to have something from the kitchen long after 22:00. Bruno made excellent cocktails. And Caio was taking care of preparing incredible breakfasts with a view. This place is one of a kind. After all my travels I cannot remember to have been to a place such like this. The catagory "Boutique Hotel" is an understatement. It is just the perfect hideaway in Rio, in walking distance to a very nice beach as well. When I am in Rio de Janeiro again I will always consider going there again.

This is a beautiful Hotel which exudes style. Marcello the owner is lovely and very kind and good company. This is a hotel that has a deep Brazilian cultural heritage for Achitecture and design/ music. You feel like you're in a James Bond film here. The chefs are superb as are the rest of the staff. This really cemented our love for Rio and Brazil. Where you stay- absolutely matters. This is one place you should make time to stay at. When I visit Brazil again i'll be staying here.

We arrived at the house and as soon as we entered we were shocked by the beauty of the Place. The architecture and the furnitures are a piece of art, every single detail shows taste and intelligence. Beautiness doesn't end inside the house but flourish outside as well, in a beautiful garden full of stairs and plants, facing the most incredible view of the Ocean. This house breath history, I call It 'house' and not 'hotel' because back in the days It was actually a house and the atmosphere of íntimacy and coziness are the one of a house lived by people, not only professionals. And that Is the most beautiful side of this Place: the people. The staff was super professional in every aspect but also incredibly warm and Easy to talk to. They helped us in all sorts of things, showing real care and flexibility. Last but not least this Place have a special secret for the One Who enjoy Brazilian music, but i don't want to spoil it because the host must enjoy telling this incredible surprise
