Location was superb. Just a shirt 10 minutes walk from the beach, the paragliding point and nice beach bars. Perfect spot and nice natural surroundings a bit up on the hill.

Very quiet place. Monkeys and hummingbirds in the trees close by. Relaxed atmosphere. No problem to leave luggage after check out. Kitchen available for guests.

I loved the location of this guest house. I loved that it was away from the more touristy and super busy Rio. And close to the Tijuca national park. (Hence very close to the hangliding which is a must when in Rio! Amazing experience! Highly recommend) The guest house is a wonderful little oasis and so peaceful. Lovely to return to after a day of exploring all the touristy bits 😁 We stayed here during the NYE and attended the NYE dinner run by the lovely owner Stan which was wonderful experience. Sadly we missed the fireworks on the beach as we were way too tired from our long flight… The guest house is well maintained and the pool is a lovely treat. Kitchen is simple but has all you need in it to make a breakfast. Or you can pay a little extra and have breakfast made for you by a local lady. But we didn’t mind making it our self.. All the staff is lovely and friendly and happy to help. The owner Stan is super kind and always up for a chat. He even let us stay on our return back to Rio from Iguazu falls for no extra cost which was super helpful since we had no sleep that night due to our flight being so early. Overall we had a lovely stay at Casa Sao Conrado and would highly recommend it to anyone. We hope to return again!

Lovely house surrounded by trees and nature. It was a lovely retreat, the bed was very comfortable and the overall vibe and design of the house was really nice, very quaint and unique.

São Conrado is a fantastic and beautiful place surrounded by nature and the most greenest area in Rio, the pousada is beautiful, architecture and design is traditional

This pousada offers an amazing terrace. The owner runs the house with love, making you feel like you are part of a big family. You can be by yourself, but also meet pleasant staff and other travelers or cariocas in the common areas x You feel like you are in the rainforest and at the same time in a retreat. There is a large kitchen and everything you need to cook. A wide variety of people stay here. However, the accommodation is a little out of the way in a safe and sweet authentic area. There is also a quiet beach nearby and you are more likely to relax here than on Copacabana or Ipanema Beach. Unless you want more action.

Wonderful pousada run by its owner with a lot of love! This space is a little paradise in Sao Conrado. Individual rooms, shared space by the pool and a varanda. Very nice guests with which you can easily speak and make friends. The owner is super hands-on and takes care of each guest individually 💜

Everything I loved about this property, from the staff, the pool, the facilities, it was perfect. There is a beautiful outside dining area and kitchen and the house is incredible! Such an amazing price in a great location right by the beach and by a big supermarket. The place has a lovely pool and it is my favourite place that I have stayed in so far after being in Rio a month! I love it so much! The gentleman’s whose place it is, is so lovely. He made us feel so welcome and it truly is a magical place!
