“Clean but isolated,overpriced and overrated”

We were the only residents staying at this cluster of accommodation chalets, some 50 m or so from the road. It was very quiet indeed. The room is of good size. Location-wise, you'll be staying among cocoa trees which reach to your verandah, thus you won't see anything else. The free roaming resident dog will come to say hello, and he was way more interested in getting water and a rest in the air con than food.

Host, Yorleny, very attentive and arranged us cocoa workshop which was wonderful. Lovely accommodation in the midst of cocoa trees, and very close to Rio Celeste tubing options. Highly recommended.

Beautiful lodge in the middle of cacao plantation, Lenny the host was extremely professional and organized for us lovely activities, amazing cacao experience and sloth tour. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. Highly recommend.

This place was a real home away from Home. The owner is very friendly and organised two incredible tours in the area. The cacao farm is very beautiful and the area is full of incredible wildlife. It is wonderfully quiet apart from birdsong and money howls. We also had an amazing cacao workshop at the farm which the entire family loved. We will be back for sure!

Very nice rooms Recommendation: book the Chocolate Tour

Neat little cabin. Toucans in the garden. Short walk to best tubing company (Onca). Breakfast was made ready early for us so that we could leave for our hike. Note unpaved roads leading in.

“Cabin at cacao plantation”

Lovely modern cabin on a cocao plantation. Great that we could use the shared kitchen. We were in bad luck of having rain most of the time. But luckily the deck was covered properly so we could sit outside as well. The location is a good base for visiting the caño negro district. About a good hour drive, 4x4 recommend though.

The lady was super friendly and helpful with recommendations. The cabin was spacious and we had two big beds. The breakfast was tasty and so was the coffee! The reception space looked nice with the hammocks

“Exceptional”

It’s a pure paradise in the middle of the beautiful jungle of Rio céleste. Surrounded by Cacao plantation, with many perroquets 🦜. Sometimes, the place you stay will change the place you visite in the good way and that’s what it did. Very nice and quiet place to stay

Clean and comfortable place to rest as well as a nice base point for you driving around and visiting the national parc Tenorio. The host, Yorlene, will arrange for you anything you need: from night tour with local guides Luis and Arturro to cacao tour through even food delivery! Don't hesitate to ask her to teach you how to cook local food, prepare the coffee like a Costarican or dance ;) We stayed two nights and enjoyed the little house very much, each house gives a sense of privacy as they are slightly hidden among the cacao trees.

We requested to have breakfast at 8am the two mornings we were there, they served us breakfast half an hour later…it looks like they are not prepared to serve food, we have to ask for everything, even silverware. It would be better they don’t offer and don’t charge for breakfast.

The place was lovely and with the Cacao plantation, but you need a car away from everything. Yelanda took us to the national park and we paid her the taxi fare.

“Pura Vida”

Magnificent place in a cocoa plantation, with impeccable wooden cabanas and a great attention to every detail. You can eat and go for night excursions to admire amphibians and reptiles. You can park inside the property that is located 15 minutes from the Volcano Tenorio Park.

Brand new spacious houses, very friendly helpful owner- it’s a exceptional place, we loved that. Highly recommend!
