I really enjoyed my stay at Gut Matheshof. The wellness area was excellent, and both breakfast and dinner were absolutely very good.. Overall, though, it was a wonderful experience, and I would happily return.

“Perfectly suited”
I made a last minute booking for a short stopover. It had to be a dog friendly hotel in the countryside. What I got far exceeded my expectations. Very friendly staff, hotel in a quiet location surrounded by fields and forests, a large room, dog friendly for two dogs, an excellent restaurant with good selection and a fantastic view! Next time I will come ready to use the pool and wellness section.

Amazing spa facilities included in the price of the accommodation. Could easily have spent longer here relaxing by the outdoor pool. Large rooms.

Fantastic breakfast, tranquil location, helpful and relaxed staff. Spacious room. Gorgeous king-sized bed. Same approach to accommodating a 60kg Great Dane or a little Yorkie - nobody cares. Immediate surrounding suitable for dog walks. 5min walk from a horse riding club..
