I loved everything about this place. The owner was very kind, friendly, and helpful. The house is nestled in the middle of a forest, away from the crowds. The surrounding park offers plenty of walking paths and beautiful fields of lupines.

“A perfect retreat from the bustle of the city.”
I travelled with my 11 year old son and as soon as we entered the property, we were captivated. We were met by the host's daughter and the gorgeous dog, Moa, who my son fell instantly in love with! The host and her family were so lovely and friendly. The house was gorgeous, full of personal artwork, trinkets and plants. I couldn't have been happier! And the garden / woodland was full of places to explore, mushrooms to find - heaven for a young mycologist! The host made us feel so at home. We will definitely stay with her again if(when!) we return to Iceland. Our biggest thanks 😊 🙏 💓

Great location, outside of Reykjavík but still very close. The house is close to the forest so it is very quiet there. The house is very lovely decorated with things from the host´s travel.s The lady is very nice and has a very cute dog (the dog is very friendly and quiet)

“Unique house! 20 min from Capital by car”
Very nice host and such a unique house! Facilities were all good as well and it’s just 20 min from Reijkvyavik. The most unique and non-problematic stay in Iceland! P.S. only if you don’t mind a host being in the place of your stay, since for some people it might be lacking a bit of personal space, but not us!

Quiet shared house with one other share room and the host (and dog). Quiet area, peri-urban locality. Excellent host with shared kitchen & large bathroom. off street parking. Good communication with host re checkin, Comfy bed. Recommended

A beautiful house, with artistic touches, in the forest, on the outskirts of Reykjavík. The most important is the very hospitable Gudbjorg, she made us feel at home. In Iceland I have stayed in several rooms for rent in the last 2 weeks. This was really a big surprise! Very beautiful surroundings, all amenities, friendly welcome from Gudbjorg and her dog Moa, at a very economical price

“A bedroom in a cozy, beautiful house”
This is a room in the house, where the owners, a very kind and friendly couple, live with their sweet young dog. There are 2 guest bedrooms and the bathroom, kitchen, living room, are shared. It is spotlessly clean, beds confortable. Parking in front of the house. It is just off Reykjavik, short ride towards the residential area.

We enjoyed the comfty beds, friendly host, flexible check-in and the beautiful house, which was very good located for our last days at Iceland. It's near to Golden Circle too. The dog is super cute and friendly. No need to be afraid.
