“A fabulous 50th birthday break”
Apartment was great - so lovely to have more space than a pokey hotel room. Also kitchen facilities to fix breakfast as Iceland is EXPENSIVE! My only suggestion to future travellers - check google maps before you arrive so that you know exactly where to go and make sure you read the instructions sent by the owner to get the keys from the lockbox (esp if you arrive in the dark!) A fabulously priced apartment in an otherwise expensive city - we loved our time there. Highly recommend

The location of the Apartment was great! Directly at the beginning of the shopping street and next to a busstation for pick up. You could walk to the church and city center in few minutes and there were several supermarkets and restrautants in the directly nearby. The apartment was well furnitured and spacious. The Kitchen could have been better equipped, but it was enough for cooking. Everything was really clean. The host responded very fast and was helpful.

“Great stay”
Lots of space, the appartment was very comfortable for up to 4 people. It has a very nice tv room with views to the street, perfect to relax after a long day of walking. The location is great, right on the street that has various shops and cafés.

THE APARTMENT IS ON THE THIRD FLOOR WITHOUT ELEVATOR MUST CARRY 3 FLOORS THE BAGGAGES, THE BUILDIND IS OLD, THE WINDOWS DO NOT CLOSE WELL, MANY MOSQUITOES, THE BATHROOM IS VERY OLD AND POOR

I grew up in Reykjavík and moved to the eastern part of the country some 40 years ago. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that I would spend a night at Laugavegur, the busiest street of Reykjavík in the old days. However having to find a place to stay all of a sudden I chose this place through Booking. Me and my wife stayed here for 2 nights and it was very nice, much better than I would have expected. On 3rd floor there was no noise from the traffic and everything in this spacious apartment was sufficient and nice. All communications were easy and instructions foolproof!

It was a perfect location, easy to check in, very clean and cozy, ideal for 3-4 people. All the facilities work very well, the furniture is in great condition. It is quiet and comfortable.
