“For the cost conscious traveler who wants great views and a convenient location”

Location and general convenience was a major plus. This is not a 5 star rental in the sense that everything is perfect and just so. It is a functional but perfectly adequate and comfortable with a sense of the real Reykjavik as there is no TV, so you can talk and wander locally in the evening. Local walks are great and interesting, the locals are friendly, and you have a great view over the city without the tourist hustle and bustle. Our hosts gave us great advice on where to shop, parking and ensuring we had everything we needed. Parking was easy and free, which as you will find, is not the case just about anywhere else you park.... You will never be cold in this rental. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for somewhere reasonable in the city to consider this rental.

Great location. Frequent buses downtown from just outside the block. Plenty of car park space and easy access to main roads out of Reykjavik. Clean, warm flat and basic facilities all in place.

“Comfortable and Relaxing stay”

Easy to get to especially if you have a car. There is a lift available for convenience Washing facilities available plus a big drying area either drying racks. Washing machine cost kr200 but dryer is free. Fantastic setup. Plenty of room for 2 people. Plenty of hot water. Management were lovely, very helpful and friendly Car parking available. Close to bakery and ice cream shop. Check in process was really easy

We had a very early flight but Martha went above and beyond to help us store our cases until the apartment became available, enabling us to explore the city. The apartment is just a 20 minute walk to the cruise terminal and has everything you might need. A visit to the thermal pool nearby is a must.

Great location: - 30 min walk from Skafarbakki cruise terminal (if you have a cruise trip before or after your stay here, like us) - Right in front of a bus stop that takes you downtown in 10 minutes - 5 min walk from FlyBus pickup location to go from/to KEF airport (Reykjavik Campsite) - 10-15 min walk from mini market (Krambúðin) - 10 min walk from nice burger and boba tea shop (Voga Grill) - There is an ice cream shop and swimming pool nearby at 5 and 10 min walk respectively, but we have not tried it so cannot comment on it Wonderful host: - Super friendly and accommodating - Very responsive through Booking.com chat - Extremely helpful and facilitative with personal requests and questions Easy check-in: - Smooth self check-in due to clear instructions (note that the keys turn clockwise here instead of counterclockwise as in some other countries, took us a minute to figure out) - Flexible check-in time Lovely accommodation: - Clean, spacious, comfortable - Possibility for two beds (default bed + sofa bed)

The apartment is very spacious, well-equipped and clean. Our host was very responsive and flexible with our late check-in request. The flat is close to the city centre, and the free parking was a big advantage too.

Everything was perfect. We got information where we can find the key so later check-in wasn´t problem. Free parking. The kitchen was well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the sofa as well. Martha was available to chat at all time. We enjoyed our stay.

The location is ideal for people with or without a car, who don’t want to be directly in the city centre. The bus stop is directly in front of the apartment block and free car parking is provided. The apartment is well equipped and was easily accessible thanks to friendly and responsive contact with the owner. I would happily stay here again.

Great view over the city. We even got to see the northern lights from the flat. Only 10-15min drive from the city center. Helpful host available on the phone if needed.

Good location in Reykjavík, easy to park around the building. Basic utensils are okay in the kitchen.

The property is excellent and very comfortable, with great views. The owners were very helpful and met us before check-in to take our luggage. We did not get there by car, but there is lots of parking and a bus stop just outside the building. Supermarket and Skarfabakki cruise terminal are within walking distance.
