We loved everything about it. Our room was beautiful and well equipped. It was in a perfect location for the city facilities and pick ups for the trips we had planned. The staff were so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble

Modern and nicely styled, immaculately clean hotel in great city location. Fantastic room service with helpful, friendly restaurant staff who listened and made the effort to meet our dietary needs and create a delicious meal.

“Wonderful”
Loved everything about the hotel. Staff especially were very friendly and professional. Perfect location, a very pretty street near the lake and around the corner from the restaurant and bars.

“Two night break was enough time to explore the city prior to moving on to our next destination.”
Great central location for exploring shops and places of interest. Bus stop just opposite is a bonus for sightseeing. Staff are super friendly. Don’t forget to visit the bar for happy hour. Room although on the small size was fine for us.

“Super property and great location”
The hotel did a lot to make our stay special by giving us a room with a balcony and a super view of the lake :) We even saw the aurora (spectacularly!) from the balcony on one of the evenings over the lake! The breakfast was absolutely first-rate and the dinners in the hotel were delicious.

“Amazing Stay with Top-Tier Breakfast”
Our stay at Hotel Reykjavík Saga was absolutely amazing. The room was clean, quiet, and surprisingly spacious, and being in the oldest part of the complex made the experience feel even more special. The shower had great water pressure (always a win after long days out), and everything in the room felt well-maintained and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was consistently top tier. The daily smoothie was a standout, and there was a huge variety—everything from eggs to homemade cinnamon rolls and more. The coffee was also very good, which we appreciated. The location is unbeatable—truly walkable to everything. We were able to easily walk to Lava Show and explore the city without needing transportation. There’s also plenty of street parking available nearby, which made things easy. Highly recommend—would absolutely stay here again.

The location of the hotel is basically unbeatable. Breakfast was truly excellent and the staff was incredibly friendly. The rooms are modern and clean, the bathroom was nice and the overall style of the hotel is classy and unobtrusive.

Loved this beautiful hotel. Very clean. Staff extremely friendly and breakfast was amazing. We ate dinner one night in the hotel and food was fantastic. Location was very central and bus stop directly outside the hotel for airport transfers and excursion trips. Would highly recommend this hotel and will certainly return.
