Overview
This charming 1920s-era guest house is 5 minutes’ walk from Reykjavík’s Laugavegur shopping street. Wi-Fi and tea/coffee are free. A guest kitchen, laundry room and terrace with BBQ are available. All rooms at the Central Guesthouse Reykjavik have access to shared bathroom facilities. Some provide a TV and some have views of Lake Tjörnin and the Harpa Concert Hall. Studio apartments have a kitchen/living room with a TV and a private bathroom with a shower. The landmark Hallgrímskirkja church is a 10-minute walk from Central Guesthouse Reykjavik. Staff can recommend restaurants and shops in the area.

“Amazing Lodge in the Centre of Town”
Amazing location right in city centre. Beautiful house with lovely facilities. Rooms were cozy warm and very nice. Kitchen downstairs looked large (we didn't use).

Airport transfer coaches stopped right outside the property. The town centre is less than 5 mins away. ATM & taxi rank if needed also inside 5 mins. Rooms & Kitchen were spacious & clean. Even though it was shared toilet/showers, one on each floor & a sink in each room, had very little waiting required. Staff went out of their way to help you , including early morning check-in & check out.

“A super place in the center of Reykjavik with terrible staff who don't give a damn about you”
This cozy accommodation is located in the center of Reykjavik, an ideal place for walking around the city. The property has a well-equipped kitchen, and the rooms were clean. Self-check-in without problems. You only need to follow the instructions received in the email.

“Great value for money location in the middle of Reykjavik”
The location is superb. So close to the middle of Reykjavik. The kitchen area is large and well equipped and it offers astounding value for money. Be aware, it is what it is. A value for money accommodation close to the centre. It is not the Ritz. If you are ok with shared facilities and a room that is fine, this is a great place to stop to experience Reykjavik.
