“Perfect location and cost benefit! Solo woman trip!”

The location was perfect for me! Very central, near the church and you can walk everywhere in central. All the tours would pass by the church stop, which is super helpful and nobody told me that. It was also easy to use the kitchen and well organised there, as well as clean. The toilets were ok. One of them accumulated water and was a bit disgusting. It was an accessible toilet by the way, which is good. I used a lot of the bolt scooters to go everywhere. I went in a solo trip and chosen a room with other 3 girls. It was very nice. Just keep in mind that people will get later to the room as the northern lights tour happens during the night. I didn’t have any problems though… I was so tired from the other tours that I slept normally and never seen anyone coming in. The room was warm and nice. I also think it might be helpful to say that I went there in a solo trip and I felt very safe. I couldn’t drive, so I did lots of tours and I super recommend it.

The location is great, pretty much right next to the church. There's an elevator taking you to the reception.

Great communication from hostel before arrival and good information provided through posters/ staff during stay. Clean and comfortable rooms. Also good location, close to bus terminal and downtown.

The hostel located right at the heart of the city, has good connectivity, very friendly staff always available on the phone, rooms are beds are clean, quiet and comfortable. Spacious kitchen, multiple showers and toilets, Would recommend to everyone who's traveling to Reykjavik

Great, friendly staff, facilities were cleaned regularly. Door codes and personal safes made it feel very secure. great location very close to the church landmark. good, clean kitchen and common area, as well as many clean bathrooms.

“Great first hostel experience”

It was my first time staying at a hostel and it made me want to go to hostels more often. The location is great, just a couple of minutes away from the church and about 15-20 minutes from BSI (which honestly, if you don't have heavy luggage you can do it in about 10 minutes and the road is really easy to follow). The receptionist was nice, asked me if I'd like a top or bunk bed which was greatly appreciated. The rooms were spacious even though there were 8 of us there, but the mattresses were hard, which for me was a con, but not entirely uncomfortable. The facilities were really clean even throughout the night which I appreciated, the bathrooms were nice, there was enough space to change in, The common kitchen/area was really beautiful and you could see the church from it, there was complimentary tea and coffee, even condiments left from previous tenants as a way to help fellow travellers. Would book again.
