“Host cancelled on us when she wanted triple the money we paid”
We were so looking forward to staying in this apartment. We booked this about a year in advance of our trip, and then suddenly three months later our host decided that she could ask for more money because she "added another bedroom to the apartment". Our choice: pay three times the price we already paid, or cancel the apartment. Ridiculous, we paid a fair price for the apartment as advertised at the time, and now we were left scrambling to find other accommodations with much less time left to go, and way fewer options still available. Horrible situation. "I truly hope this will not cause you a lot of discomfort on your journey to Iceland". Well guess what, it certainly did.

“Amazing Apartment In The Heart Of The City”
Aside from the large space and beautiful decor the best thing about this apartment was the central location and view. The terrace offers views of the famous church. This view is made even better at sunset. There is also a chance to see the northern lights however, on the night we stayed we unfortunately didn’t get to see them.
